I would be too. They wound up being pretty big plants
That sounds pretty good man. I wouldn’t go too overboard on the nitrogen at this point. Be careful, you may have to hire a crew to come trim those big girls you got!
Lol yeah I’m excited
Your plants are getting nice and fat keep up the good work . I hope all your neighbors love the smell .
Thanks!! Wow, my head just swelled way up. I’m shooting for plants like yours someday. Once I’m in the country I’m going to have plenty of big, ripper eating dogs.
I’m a little worried about rippers, but I can only do what I can do.
Hey man. How long did you let your popcorn tea germinate for?
A couple of days. I divided about 2/3 out and took out the ones with good sprouts, then put the unsprouted ones back in the jar. I ground up the sprouted one.
The next day I ground up the remaining ones for the goat pen.
I read you want the sprout at least as long as the grain.
O ok cool. Thanks man that’s what I needed to know. I was watching that show moonshiners and a couple guys on there wanted to make rye whisky. So what they did was germinate the rye because once germinated it makes a sugar and that sweetens the alcohol. So if that’s right and you fungi in your soil and good microbial action the germination process should feed everything else. In that case would u still use molasses for anything
Later in flower some people do. Some claim it it feeds all microbes good and bad, thus avoiding it.
You’re gonna have good and bad microbes either way, the way I see it. I’ll have plenty of sugar in the knf bloom fert I’m making. Probably don’t need it, but with.
I’m gonna start a fermenting fruit juice. We have tons of these tall thick budding plants around that produce a purple pistil flower and many other flowers. Everything is wild. It’s a knf ffj method. I think your doing the same thing @Badger. Do you how much of the final product to be used and how often to apply it?
I just read this. Give me a sec.
1/2 ounce to a gallon of water. This guy likes once every 2 weeks.
That’s great man. Thanks! I never thought it would be that strong. Once again I’m excited to be making this. Tomorrow I’m gonna go out and fill a bag with some wild flowers from around here and start this process. What’s really cool about this that it’s free and growing in the same type of soil.
That is an awesome idea bro. We will experiment with all different kinds. So cool!!
That dose /gallon even sounds high from what the KNF book states But I’ll have to check most extracted products get about 1:500 or 1:1000 dilution with most being 1:1000 sooo 1 ml per liter of IIRCC that comes out to about 5-6 mls just 1teaspoon per gallon
They mention early morning preferably before sun up and don’t wash the plants ,need that bacteria on them.
Line me out man, but redbud is supposed to be pretty good. That may be for his recipe?
Ya if ya think about his Is about x2 the concentration very similar to the 1:500 dilution however the ones made with vinegar I wouldn’t go that heavy (water soluble calcium , phosphorus etc)
Spread them out. Should start getting some more light in. They are starting to get more pistils.
@tinytuttle thanks for the advice man. I bet you never thought when you started giving the badger advice that it would become a full time job.
Looking great man! I like how these plant start of with 3 leaves then as the plant matures they go up by 2 to about 11 leaves then back down to 3 towards the end of the plant
That’s exactly how your supposed to bend those branches @Badger. A+ job there
