Love the painting!
Cruising right along here, humidity is staying between 55 and 65 percent with temps 65 to 75. Bout 4 weeks from flip, stretch is done, everything is right up on the lights, havent seen any bleaching yet, so hopefully they can take it. Probably just gonna leave it all on cruise control from here on out:) While i plot and scheme for the next round.
Oregon CBD triploid SSS
Snowhigh Quicksilver
@Indoornesian Sour Bluetooth
Smaller Quicksilver
They all look great!
Thanks @Tejas. I vegged them too long waiting for some autos to finish, now im crashing into the lights, hopefully they don’t get burned.
Scoping trichomes…week 7 from flip 12/12
Spirit Train f2 is the closest to be finished all the pistils have died back, any day now.
Sour Bluetooth…
Has a bit more to give. Pistils just starting to die back.
Quicksilver…
Is definitely gonna go a bit longer, still has lots of pistils that havent turned.
And the SSS CBD…
This one is almost finished.
Gave everyone some rootwise biophos and some coconut water. The STf2 container has been consistently on the dry side this run, gonna have to reset the blumats when these are done. Finishing at 7 weeks feels weird after averaging 9-11 with most stuff lately, but i dont make the rules.
New Year, New Plants!
Gonna get these going. Thank’s to this amazing place, the future looks very green!
Super excited about the FBSC Columbian Gold. Maybe if I start now it will be fully cured in time for next year’s New Year’s Celebrations, haha.
Ace Zamaldelica f2: might be a nice candidate for some canna sous vide/cobb curing experiments.
Purple Urkle is a classic.
Blockhead bx sounds nice.
Paeonia Purple Paralyzer
Dragon’s Blood Hashplant
Lebowski from Veedub turned out to be some of the best weed ever!
Hope the last 3 seeds of Black Triangle f2 are as good as all the others ive popped, it made some amazing hash rosin.
Plan is to pop some of each, sex them, clone, then flower the just rooted

Oregon CBD Sour Special Sauce
Thinking i’ll start a new thread for 2023 or maybe i’ll just keep this one going here?
Anyway, kicking off the year harvesting and processing. Chopped several plants down yesterday and today.
Soon I’ll be messing with the Sour Special Sauce(CBD) that i chopped and froze yesterday. It is really greasy, so i hope it doesnt all just rinse away making ice water hash, i’ll also make some ethanol tincture, may not be worth the trouble of making hash first, if im just gonna dissolve it in everclear anyway, right?
Also thinking about upgrades to the flower beds. I want to make some nice scrog frames and get my blumats dialed in better. I cant figure out why certain beds were swinging from 25 to 200 according to my blumat digital meter, while others seemed to stay consistent.
Ethanol is a polar solvent, so it will pull some water soluble compounds such as chlorophyll. So making the hash first will make a cleaner extract, especially if you plan on smoking the oil.
The hash usually only gets the capitate stalked trichomes, where as the ethanol will also get the bulbous trichomes. So you will get more cannabinoids (and chlorophyll) if you are using it as an oral medicine.
@ReikoX thanks for that. I’ll be trying both processes. I dont have a lot of experience with CBD, wouldn’t tincturing be the best way to achieve therapeutic doses? Im guessing big rips of cbd hash/rosin for rapid pain relief, and high dose tincture for ongoing pain issues? Im also interested in custom blending some extract/tinctures playing with different ratios of cbd:thc.
Tincture is a great way to dose. I’ve added CBD isolate to my tinctures for added medicinal values.
I have never made hash from a CBD strain. I have pressed CBD flower into rosin. It usually ended up quite runny.
I have lots of new plants above ground right now. Went ahead and started a little of everything to sift through and clone out.

Im thinking:
Gypsum(for soil balance)
Black Soldier Fly Frass(microbial/food)
Crustacean Meal(microbial/food)
Neem Seed Meal(food)
TM7 or Big 6 for micros
Malted Barley(for enzymes)
Rootwise Mycrobe Complete(to fire it up)
Chopped up leaves and stems, bubble waste, and already been vaped(can we call it biochar? )
Covercrop
I top dressed the soil beds in my flower room. Ended up applying per container:
2 cups of gypsum(calcium/sulfur, soil balancer)
1.5 cups karanja cake
1.5 cups neem cake
2 cups crustacean Meal(chitin, SAR)
2 cups black soldier fly frass(chitin, SAR)
2 cups malted barley(Enzymes)
2 cups worm castings
Up potted some babies, they are in like 50/50 worm castings and promix.
I think you got all your plants needs covered with that list of ingredients
Added the cover crop seed mix and watered it all in with some coconut and some rootwise complete. I have a little Quicksilver plant finishing up in there, im sure it got dusted pretty good with all that stuff, so i think im just gonna run the whole thing through my bubble bags for hash, or should i do a bud wash with h2o2, lemon juice, and rinse? Or both?
I used lemon juice in water, then baking soda and water, then a rinse in plain water. Just make sure you rinse thoroughly, from my experience lemony baking soda flavourful weed is not good
Nice thread! I love sticking the seeds in the aloe leaf chunk to improve germination.
With the budwashing, I stick to high-concentration H2O2 water and don’t rinse it off. I used a main wash bucket, and a final wash bucket, both filled with the same concentration of H2O2-H2O. But, that’s for outdoor stuff where I’m worried about bugs, dust and mold spores. I had better results doing this than the lemon juice/baking soda stuff, bugs/dirt included. I believe the concentration I was using end-of-season, as I improved each time, was like 50oz of 3% standard bottle stuff in a 5 gallon bucket of water not full (maybe 4g water). @Pigeonman uses more than twice that concentration. It sounds like you are just trying to rinse the microbe complete off, that stuff is crazy dusty, just sharing what wash stuff I’ve been using successfully even though it’s probably way more aggressive than you need.
Curious about that Big Mountain Gold - all I saw in this thread was that it was good smoke, can you elaborate a bit? I got a pack from Seed Cellar’s old-stock clearance list a few weeks ago.
Blueberry Blast is a favorite from the Blueberry Thunderdome thread. I’ve got FDM C99 if you’d be interested in doing some trading.
Yeah my H202 bucket for bud washing outdoors is 1gal of 3% H202 with 3gal of water. My lemon/soda bucket is 1 cup lemon/1 cup baking soda + 4 gallons of water.
Nice grow @Garden-Buddy !!
The BMG was good. Not a hasher, but long lasting pleasant high, tasty but not super loud, easy to grow.
@FieldEffect the FDM C99 is definitely enticing. Have you grown it?
