That is an interesting optical trick you have going there…
The green is from the chlorophyll.
There’s a way to clean that up (degrading the chlorophyll) I don’t recall the details exactly as I use a different method.

Just sit the jar in direct sunlight for a few hours and the green will go brown.
Ive got 3 of the Forum Stomper F2 autoflowers from @Sebring going right now and they are looking pretty good starting to flower. Last time i ran them they developed some kind of deficiency and these seem to be doing better, but you can see on the one leaf what looks like the same thing that happened last time. Im hoping, with a little extra feeding to keep it in check. They made some nice smoke last time but did struggle later in flower. Anyone else run into this with these?
Made some worm tea and watered everything with it, then emptied the bag out as a top dress. Also put the plants that i know are female in their forever homes. Took some cuttings off the triploid cbd plant to knock it back some and to see if i can keep it around that way. Still waiting on a few plants to show sex, and ill put them in when the autos i have going are finished. Heres some pictures.
… And a painting im finishing up with the help of some Quicksliver flowers;)Nice grow you got going @Garden-Buddy !
How was the quicksilver and BMG smoke from snowhigh? I have those and considering popping soonish.
Thanks for checking it out. The Big Mountain Gold was a fun grow. Good yield, nice smoke, easy going plant.
Quicksilver is good too, i have a couple clones of it that im gonna keep around a minute, haven’t gotten to try a hash run on it yet. I’ve just begun hanging out with it, after a few weeks curing has an energetic creative buzz, but not as trippy as i was expecting from the description. Not sure on flavor yet.
Nice; thanks for the update!
Ok, realized i havent posted any pictures from the garden in a minute.
The Forum Stomper F2 auto fems are doin the exact same thing they did last time. I even took some counter measures fed them crushed barley, microbes, micros, and buildabloom, even worm tea. IDK
The plants i transplanted into the living soil room are getting settled in now. Ive got a Sour Bluetooth, a Quicksilver, and a Spirit Train F2,
…and the Sour Special Sauce from OregonCBD is really beasting out, will probably need to do some more training there before all is said and done. Haven’t really been able to get it up for put together a scrogging system. I feel like ive been getting by pretty good without it, but a beast plant like this could definitely benefit. (Laziness probably, lol)
In the propagation tent ive got some SSS clones, a sour bluetooth male, another plant i think is male, and a couple others im not sure about that are kinda suffering poor airflow/nutrition.
Ok, got rid of the male and a couple of really unhappy plants in the propagation tent, and moved a couple of the happier looking ones to the flower room. Im trying to finish the autos, so i can put something else in their place and flip everything to 12/12. The plants ive transplanted are doing way better in their new home.
My ugly autos are nearing the finish line. I have a couple of QS clones ill pop in there after chop, get them settled in, then flower everything under 13.5hrs dark, see if that helps anything, as opposed to 12/12.
Im trying to keep the isopods well fed with green mulch and eliminating their access routes, so they arent tempted to climb up anything. Hilarious that they’ve caused such headache, being viewed by many as a beneficial.
The Sour Bluetooth is a monster of a plant, would love to be able to grow it outside.
@mistergreenthirteen this is what im talking about!
Forum Stomper auto f2s are at 92 days, a few cloudy trichomes, no amber yet, so i will let them grow. They need to hurry up though, ive got a couple Quicksilver clones getting impatient. Everything else is more than ready to flip too.
Hey @Garden-Buddy i enjoyed getting caught up on your grow; good stuff!
Do you recall the germ rates on quicksilver? I’m debating if I should soak all 30 that I have, or start with 20. Planning to do an open pollination if I get enough to pop…
@Elpolloloco ive had to pull out all the tricks to get anything out of them. Sandpaper, aloe, soak 12 hours, and plant in root riot cubes has been the most succssful. Snowhigh recommends a chemical stratification with peroxide but ive only tried it once and might have messed it up.
Thanks; I’ll soak all 30 in that case!
Good luck! I hope some of them pop for you. Its pretty good ‘work around the house weed’. I just transplanted my two clones today, they were startin to struggle in their little 1 gal containers.
Chopped the ugly autos down today, they were at like day 94 from seed, and put my 2 Quicksilver cuttings in there. Then watered everything in with some; rootwise biophos, coconut powder, buildabloom, and probiotics. Also, putsome more DE on their stems and around their bases, and eliminated any contact with cover crop. Since ive been doing that and adding fresh mulch the pill bugs havent been bothering the cannabis plants.
No even canopy this round, lol. Everything is jus begging to be put into flower mode, so im gonna give my transplants a couple days then its on. Cant wait to see what that Sour Bluetooth f2 has going on.
Ok, put everything on a 13.5 off/10.5 on light schedule for flowering. The SSS CBD has something going on with its leaves. Water in ita container hasnt been as consistent as id like and the plant has been vegged way too long. I have clones of it that ill try to do a better job with.
I think this BMG x black triangle is a male, ill wait to be sure, but will have to go away if it is.
Feeling alright going into flower. The Sour Bluetooth f2 is doing the best. Spirit Train f2 is chugging along. Quicksilver is looking good, does have some twisty hook leaves going on though. I scoped them and doesnt seem to be bugs, hoping they will snap out of it. Here is a family pic of them all together.
Hey everybody! It’s a jungle down there, haha. Vegged everything way too long and now we’re gonna be crashing into lights soon.
Put everything on to a 12/12 light schedule instead of the 13.5 off/10.5 on, after listening to Dr MJ Coco talking about light independent processes versus light dependent processes and how going past 12 hours of darkness for regular photoperiod plants just deprives them of an hour of light each day that they could have used to grow, possibly lowering overall yield. Maybe there is a benefit for hard to flower/finish stuff. Anyway, i thought id just go back to 12/12 since im not growing anything difficult and im only a week and a half into flower.
Accidentally supercropped the QS? trying to bend it over to get it out of the lights.
Some random shots…
Current painting in a series of Sunsets. Next up will be a sunset using Bob Ross tech:)
