Going for the record!

You on a ladder when u take those pics? Makes it look like u got 12ft ceilings. How high from the tops do you have the lights?

Cant believe u only run 2k over that area. I have a 4x8 canopy that I run 1.4k over

Im hoping to get 4# out of it. Which is like 57g per sq ft.

This is them week 5

I have a 7’ ceiling… roughly 12" above the plants give or take… my camera I-Phone 11X has a 0.5 view lens that gives a good perspective view… my tallest plants are roughly 5’10" the average Guava hash is 40" give or take …

your crop looks great… I used to run 4x8’s with HID… on a good run we’d crack 4lbs…but usually 2.5-3 lbs … used to do ebb and flow with Rockwool… one of the tastiest crops ever was Norther Lights on a 4 x8… just amazing

in that overhead picture the lights are roughly belly button height… maybe chest height.

Thanks…im worried about when they get floppy and start laying on top of each other causing bud rot and PM. Never had PM but read a lot of PM threads lately and it has me nervous. I got those 2x3s on either end i use to run string across to hold them up but its such a PITA ducking under them. They are about 5ft off the floor. I wish I could use stakes. I grow RDWC so hard to put stakes in hydroton. Too loose. Also 4" netpots.

I pulled 20oz off a single plant last run with this strain. But the canopy was a lot bigger but no scrog and the solstrips were driven 60%. I got these at 100% this run.

So 4lbs is 10.66oz per plant. Thats definitely achievable. So i may end up more than 4lbs. In 4 weeks ill find out. The buds are already bigger.

Going to toy around with driving them hard. Theres gotta be a point where its just a waste to drive them any harder

Proper respect. I like what you do and you clearly do it well. I have enjoyed this thread.

Great job!

Its an 8 site where each site has a 2x2 screen over it but 2 were trailing behind so I used them to make clones for next run and put the two tall ones near the two empty sites to fill it in. Glad I did or i would have ran out of room!

Just like you I let them get weak in veg so I kept them in veg 2 weeks extra to regain vigor. RDWC grows fast. I shouldnt need longer than 2-3 weeks in veg from rooted clones to end up with a full canopy if i used all 8 sites.

Guava hash x C99. My early cut … 3.7 gram press from 14 grams of small nuggets. The bud is rock hard too… when you look at it under the loupe you can’t see any plant tissue, the exterior is completely 100% encrusted in in layers of little crystals… This reminds me very much of my old school hash plant that I used to grow…the bud was odd shaped with protrusions but was rock hard and super heavy from all the resin. Except this plant is far more terpey and pungent

the terp profile is piney, fruity and a little acidic.like many hash plants the full aroma doesn’t hit till you cut it up, almost like the layers of crystals lock in the terpenes and its not until you cut it open does it really express its true smell, and let me tell you this smells really bad and is not something you want to cut up anywhere enclosed, it absolutely reeks ! the joints stink to high heaven too, almost eye watering how pungent it is … the rosin is amazing, sweet fruity/citrus with a massive wallop . Also this genetic is a real lung puller, its nasty in all the good ways and something a near 30 year pothead like myself can appreciate

thank you !

I absolutely love growing, and it may sound funny but you cant lie to your plants, you can’t cheat and make them grow good, there is no shortcuts.

Wow nice work gave me a few ideas. So with the staking what to you mean by ring circles like wrapping the string a couple time around the stake and going to the next one ?
