Canopy math 12’ x 6’9" 40 plants
11,664 sq inches… 81 sq feet… 4,480 grams … 0.384 grams per square inch… 55 grams per square foot …595 grams per square meter !!!
Lol…not sure wtf I did…maybe wasnt math, but I got, like, 7,181 g per sq.f or something…lol…I like this new herb
Stay tuned !!I will be posting pictures tonight and plan to walk deeper into the room and catch a few detailed pictures, likely will chop down some of the mature tops tonight and will post some microscope pictures , from what I see I have some phenomenal trichome density so the pictures should be juicy

Buddy…that is wild!!! Can’t wait to see final numbers!! Inspiring!!!
I’m trying to figure out how to do this. I don’t sell my weed and tend to manicure it as I need it…I cut my plants and hang them in a humidity controlled tent then manicure them as I use them… trying to manicure 10lbs by yourself is no small feat . I guess my only solution is to trim it plant by plant then post the weigh in results as I go along.
I just did my first press of naturally dried bud… with just smalls I pressed 3.7 grams from 1/2 ounce of weed, from a plant I cut down a week ago, top colas are still too wet to press but will for sure be over 4 grams.
I did find one plant with the beginning stage of bud rot, so I yanked the room down last night…everything was ripe I was just going to wait till the weekend, thankfully only one plant was showing and the damage was minimal… You can tell right away what bud rot looks like you’ll see a dead shriveled leaf right in the middle of a otherwise perfectly healthy cola . I Like this Genetic as the cola’s aren’t too massive , some genetics will produce like crazy but in a crowded room you end up fighting bud rot.
In terms of production I think I am doing good…i definitely have some skinny girls in the mix but just the same I have even more chonkers that will be tipping 5z plus… But all the same this room got too crowded, the plants stretched and even if I hit my weight goal the harvest will be far more work as the bud is more spread out
so here is likely a near 5Z plant growing in a 1 gallon pot( maybe 2 gallon LOL ) using my boxing ring method… notice how the plant stays within its boundaries and all cola’s are upright… 4 corner stakes and 3 ring ropes keeps the plant centered perfectly …no tipping over… perfectly contained and still moveable
6 plants still standing . 4 x doc holiday x C99 , 2 x SPP testers I got from a buddy
I can’t imagine trimming all of that by myself!!!
How do yall get such good rosin returns? Im like 10% on trim
So in this crop I encountered several issues that could have decimated the crop, but I was fortunate to have been on top of things and was able to correct course before any serious damage occurred.
- Too hot and dry during early life stunted the plants and forced me to grow them too large in order to regain vigor. Never turn a plant over to flower unless its vigorous and healthy, otherwise your wasting your time. The overgrowth of the plants in veg led to substantial overcrowding in flower and made maintenance very difficult … very very critical that I kept my night temps right in line with my day temps during stretch… if I didn’t do this my crop would have been a disaster
2 . Thrips… during early flower I seen some minor leaf damage on a couple of plants… thrips can be a real disaster if you let them go…they lay eggs in the leaf tissue, the the larvae emerges and drops into the soil, chomps on the roots, morphs into a fly then lays more eggs in your leaves… real bad hombres for sure… I found that airflow, higher Co2 and pest strips get rip of them…no need to spray the plants with anything …of course I caught it very early and was able to snuff it out immediately… Oh almost forgot to mention I physically remove any damages leaves. - Bud Rot … yesterday I was inspecting the room and I seen the telltale sign of budrot…thankfully I caught it immediately and had only one single bud affected, but if I didn’t catch it and let the crop go another week it could have been a disaster. What you look for is a dead shriveled leaf right in the middle of a otherwise perfectly healthy cola , the rot comes super fast and canary in the mine are the leaves in the cola…
I press it all into rosin. Cola’s are for dabbing, smalls are for edibles … i would not see anywhere near 30% on trim, this is from primo cola’s only… and I must mention genetics and growing conditions play a huge part, my plants are grown under high Co2 condition so they tend to produce more resin
that’s why I just keep my tent at 58% and trim as I need it, the bud just sits in there curing safely till its needed. Now for the purpose of this thread I’d love to be able to do a one time weight up but I am not sure I can do that , I just have no other way to store it safely … so best I can do is trim it plant by plant and keep updating the tally till we are confident on the overall average
