Gray and crispy with leaf curl is usually P deficiency or PH I find, over watering can cause it to look like that as well sometimes, but that may be due to the plant not being able to uptake nutrients, I have a OG female I am holding in a small pot doing it atm, I gave it a teaspoon of Gaia Green bloom ferts 10 days ago and new growth is coming in fine now.

That was the least acidic one lol so they got flushed with high ph water. All are nearly done except goddamn dragon blood lol
On the plus side i got my first seed out of the sourstrawberry chunks i cut off! Looks healthy!

When it starts to look like you are dehydrated itās time to take action lol.
Why do you think itās getting so low? My medium is naturally acidic but I think my feed water is much higher which balances it out.
Is that the sour strawberry from the seed run?

I think it has to do with pumping them hard with fertilizer, and no water only days in tiny solo cups lol ohā¦ and never checking my run off to catch it early. My tap water is 7.0 and I usually adjust to .5 either side and just send it. I also started new nutrients, maybe they swing more than Iām used to (was using "ph perfect advanced nutrients ")ā¦ I typically mix up a milk jug, ph it then never do it again until the jug is empty.
Yes from the seed run. I had 1 female out of 4 seeds. By that point timing wasnāt working so I cut a clone and threw her into the seed fridge. The clone has since died of dehydration unfirtunatly. She smells amazing

Iām not so sure about dragon bloodā¦ I mean its good, has good smell, flavor and smooth smoke. But it just doesnāt seem to have the face melting quality id hoped for. Maybe my tolerance is through the roofā¦ or powering through a joint cause Iām cold doesnāt help but I dunno lol. I definitely donāt need 10+ oz of it lol. Guess Iāll be making extracts and edibles

Mind you if I smoke one before I take a shower the heat sets it off and I space put and forget what im doing. So its a good cerebral high when its givenerā¦ ill have to do more testing

Yea I gave a bunch away around Xmas. I only smoke a joint or 3 per day, and only for fun so excess just sits there curing. These days I like growing it more than smoking it
I was thinking about bubble bags. Iāll probably order some of the 5 gallon ones. My 1 gallon are 100% garbage. I just canāt decide between ānormal styleā and all mesh

I 100% agree with this statement. Mrs Foreigner is the primary smoker in the house these days.
Re: bags - Iāve had good results with the cheap ones. Viparspectra I think. These days I only use the 220 and 160 to hold the crap, the 45 to collect, and the 25 to collect edible grade. But Iām still glad I got the 8 bag set because it taught me a lot about grades and collection styles.
$50 well spent. I also bought a $10 drill on kijiji

I have not. Mostly because they are more expensive. I bought the cheap ones and am happy with them. If they break Iāll buy the same ones again.
The argument is that the mesh bags drain easier and are less likely to clog and so they drain faster. Itās a bit of work to hold up gallons of water as it slowly drains through a fine screen. Good workout for the arms though.
My 25u bag drains VERY slowly after a few stirs and this would be avoided by using the full mesh bags. But, the 25u is one step above trash anyway and I have abandoned it more than once. The 45u is what Iām really after.

A quick pick through the dead tops gave me around 80 good beans and a few greenies. The rest of the plant didnāt survive the ph drama or the flush so its drying now tooā¦
With that being said, out of the 3 strains I pollenated this is the one Iām most interested in, and it will be awhile before I pop themā¦ any of you regulars planning on starting a new grow journal for the new year and want to let me live vicariously through you while you grow somthing that could be severely berry flavored? If in canada its a bonus cause i can give you a very detailed description of the cackleberry used to pollenate.
After a final count ill probably give a bunch away but for now Iām hoping someoneās lookin to start somthing soon

Talking about bags I use the original bubble bags 5 gal Iād hate to guess how old they are but there old they were the highest priced bags back in the day.
Have you seen the trick to getting the bags to drain fast ? Lifting and dropping it down fast raises the layer of hash creates force and allows the water to exit the bag.

Yea I saw so thing about that a little while ago. I just havnt tried it yet, cause fuck those 1 gallon bags id rather flush the weed down the toilet

No you have to use 5ās or Ive seen 7 gal but then where do you get 3 -7 gal pails ?
Or you could get the 25 gal if you feel strong

Lol the worst was finding a suitable bucket for the 1 gallon. They are long and narrow. I was more expecting an ice cream bucket shape but nope! I ended up using some scrap 4 inch pvc pipe lol

The 5 gal Iāve got fit perfect in Rona pails bag folds over the top of the pails perfectly easy to stretch out and collect just slide the bag down the outside of the pail till the screen gets tight credit card and a glass of water to rinse the edge of the bag.
