Update timeā¦ Thatās one of the smaller leaf that I have removed from the girls, crazy isnāt it?
So here we are near in July and in some parts of the frosted white Northā¦ Itās the start of transition.
Iāll just let you decide from the pictures do all the talking.
But I have to say that the one has some very sativa dominant growth patterns to it.
Here it is beside and Acapulco gold that Iām growing. Iāve had to do some serious training to her to get her to bush out instead of her being wellā¦ Like this lol.
They are very thirsty girls. Even though Iāve been using fpeās made from lambs quarters and dandilon they have been going threw 2ltrs a day in 5 gallon grow bags.
The strain from @Scissor-Hanz clones really easily as well. Actually one of the easiest ones to clone Iāve ever had the privilege of growing .
The stocks well are all growing different as well.
But hereās the rest of the veterans garden with a prized pheno of seedsmens Momma Mia.
Momma Mia prized phenoMomma Mia clones, Acapulco Gold clones and White Rhino f2 clone.
I will say that even though this is the start of transition for us outdoor growerās in some if not all areasā¦ Iām excited as hell to see what the yeild will be and also to watch the stretch.
As always comments, suggestions and input are always welcome.
Kg/P. Bear
P.s. total plant count including rooted Crocketts tangerine x orange Sunshine f-2 from @Scissor-Hanz is 12. Been a little busy lol
UPDATE TIME
So Iāve been busy with all the girls. The Crocketts tangerine (f2) x orange sunrise that Iām trying out for @scissor-Hanz has been taking off like crazy. Have made a few clones of them and they are just chilling out in their cellpots right now. The 4 of them have been showing some very interesting trates. 1 of the girls has to be in full shade and get only indirect sunlight exposure or she will wilt right down and canāt figure out why. Sheās very sativa dominant from her leaf structures but canāt take full sunlight?
Two of them have been growing very much indaca dominant and on more very sativa but the three of them are in full sun with the rest of my vets grow.
A few of the girls (mostly the indaca dom momma mia) are starting to show signs of flowering with their cute little white hairs. The sativaās are still just chugging right alongā¦
None of them have hermied yet and 0 males this grow so no pillan at all
As always comments good or bad always welcome, let me know what you think.
they are all looking good an i like how you have the bags in the milk crate, great idea.
Thanks I figured Iād give it a shot. But word of warning. Your roots might get congested.
Anyone interested? If not then I may have to distroy them as I wonāt have room to keep them going over the winter to late spring.
Well itās been a while since I have updated the grow ā¦ well for all of you following along itās transition time meaning our plants are starting to flower and frost up.
areThese little parts of bud porn I have attached are only the Crocketts tangerine x Orange sunrise indaca dominant girlsā¦ Man are they getting frosty.
As if today they are standing at 6feet tall and almost the same wide. I have to admitā¦ If this is how the indaca dominant phenos are frosting upā¦ I canāt wait to see how the sativa dominant phenos will be.
As always I have been watering with my fpe and molasses (3-4 table spoons in a 2 gal watering can). Helps with trichome production and keeps the soil alive. Giving compost tea every 3 watering and sst made from corn when making my compost bacteria tea once a weekā¦
Think Iāll cut off the teas and nutes one week before choppingā¦ What do you think?
Input always welcome
Whatās next??? Harvesting and dry weight as well as smoke report.
KG
I think if you plan on planting in that container immediately after, keep giving the soil the teas.
Was considering that, just wanted to reamed the soil a bit first and cook it for a month before I reuse it for a left hand seeds pheno grow I will have coming up.
Ok so itās update time with some bud porn of developing crystally bud from the girls.
You can imagine my surprise on how they have been growing in staggered timings. I made one clone from them just to flower and give a smoke report on.
I do a wet trim and then let dry for as long as needed. The clone was so resinous you can see what happened to my snippers. It almost remineded me of trimming gg4 that it almost glued them shut.
The sissor hash had very strong notes of citrus and mouthwatering stickiness to the touch.
Left to dry for 2 weeks and then after clipping for the jars I snagged one small bud for testing.
The smokeā¦
When smoked she has a very nice orange flavor thatās hard to describe. It was sweet, like biting into a nice juicy ripe orange with a candy like fruity taste on the inhale.
On the exhale omg what a lovely surprise to me to find out how great it tasted. I was expecting a very hashy taste from her some where but nope. It was very reminiscent of a fruit salad with hints of cherry, orange (of course), mild pineapple and left my mouth watering. She was resinous enough she left orange flavored resin on my lips for a beautiful reminder later on.
The high
The high was almost like a slow rollercoaster feeling like I was floating. I suffer from arthritis in my back, have vbpd, PTSD. Unlike others I have smoked it didnāt have a heavy or harsh narcotic feeling effect at all. Very warming, energizing and uplifting. When coming down a few hours later there was no crash at all. Felt very relaxing almost like I was floating down gently from the clouds .
As you can tell it was also eurphoic. (Sorry smoked more before writing this for accuracy)
@Scissor-Hanz keep up the good work my friend this is an AWESOME strainā¦ .
Well done! Those are some really huge, sugar looking crystals. Sounds like my kind of smoke too, Iāve always loved anything orange.
Thanks and if any produce seedā¦ Iāll be offering some of them up for the community.
I too, have a few of those Tangie x OSS ( TOSSer.) ā¦
Yours is the second one iv seen grown here -@Calyxander grew some recently too ā¦! .
Have you finished the lot and what did/do they look like .any more pics @Komodoghost. ?
Happy growing mate ,
Gaz
I still have the indaca dominant strain flowering as well as the sativa dominant.
And here they are as of today. Please keep in mind itās been raining here all day.
