Couple pictures…First to last…GTH#1, NL/Afghan, and my beloved Headbanger Haze. Wish I kept a clone but was expecting garbage because the seeds were premature. About 3 more weeks for everything. Noting how little trim there is on the GTH. Talk about easy to harvest!

This phenotype of GTHAZE is my breeder. Today is day 70. She’s going to at least 90. She’s stretchy and with the right training, I can fill a 5x5 with one plant. The buds are plentiful but not dense. It’s actually a trait I like. Still covered in resin, but without all the extra plant material to smoke and choke on, like all the new school Kush. Kush is beautiful and shiny and chunky, but harsh on the throat.

Headbanger Haze. Made F2’s. Started off in flower just transplanted and small. Ended up a decent sized plant with beautiful nuggets and ready at 11 weeks. Nose is grapes and sour gas

Been crazy busy. Here’s the Headbanger Haze. This is next level haze. Grows like an indica, buds like a kush, the buds having less green matter and more trichomes. Flavor is sour citrus. Finished in 11 weeks. This will be crossed to the 518 Sour Diesel two rounds from now. Next up is Jack’s Lavender and more Lavender Frosting, compliments of @WeTokeChronic Shit is fire. The only flaw in my last grow with her was I did not grow enough. Anyway here’s a picture of the Headbanger Haze

Ghost Train Haze drying in the tent. These were picked at 11.5 weeks, but could have gone another week. One is wispy, but smells too good not to smoke.

Several weeks later and the verdict is in.
GTH#1 is pretty good after some curing. I’m sure it will be smoother in a couple weeks. The buzz is extremely powerful, but the smoke isn’t as thick and choking like most OG crosses.
Sleepy Joe was a runt and yielded crap, but extremely loud flavors and lights couchlock powerful.
My favorite is the Headbanger Haze. It’s almost perfect. Bud smells like strawberries and Sour until it’s squeezed and pure sour fills the air for hours. The tent will be full of F2’s next round. Hunting a keeper and backcrossing the 518 Sour D

Two days later, all the Headbanger Haze f2’s popped, most of the 518 Sour D popped but I’m waiting another day before transferring to the rapid rooters, and the Jack’s Lavender are just cracking.

Very nice trim job. I do OK, but I normally screw up the trichomes trying to trim the sugar leaves. Yours is eye candy.

Still gotta read back, but I did scope out those frosty bud shots, and the description and lineage of the headbanger Haze made me drool🤤

Are you trimming wet or dry? I hang dry on the stem for about five days, then snip the buds off and into a paper bag, where they sit for another 5 days. It depends on how much bud is in the bag. When the sugar leaf stems are just dry enough to crack seams to be my sweet spot for flavor and smoothness

What’s up @HeadyBearAdventures ? Thanks for stopping by. Headbanger Haze is all I smoke right now. I like everything about it. Yield, smell, flavor, smoothness of smoke, and bag appeal. I’m psyched for Sour d x Jack’s Lavender Frosting. @WeTokeChronic has a thing for skunky bud. I saw Tony’s Tortured Beans grow some Sour d bx3’s and some phenotypes looked pretty good. So yes, I’m psyched for this round too. Sour and skunk all the way!

12 day old babies getting their own tray. Making it to potty training stage are 7 Headbanger Haze F2, 7 518 Sour Diesel, and 2 Frosted Altoids. Sour D’s are a bit behind the others but looking good.
