Growin' and Chuckin'

Transplant day, the 23rd day, Duper owl Sunday!!! 3x3’s to quarts. No need to feed until a week after the final transplant, next week. 1 tsp mykos per transplant site. That’s it.
Tossed one HBH and one FA, to bring my count down a little.

Setting up and watering the 5gal smartpots. Plants get a dose of epsom salts(1tsp/gal) before transplant, in 5 or 6 days.

Final transplant. Needed to get these done today. Wish I had I more time. Anyways, the plants look solid. Headbanger Haze F2’s are the big plants, 518 Sour D are the smaller.

Hey bro, your grows are looking stellar as usual. Beautiful work.

I wanted to ask @WeTokeChronic about that Lavender Frosting. I remember a lot of people talking about it. And, after reading how much you like it, I should grow them at the same time to make some seeds.

Is that just Lavender x Vanilla Frosting? I have both parents if so. Which was the Mom? I still haven’t grown either but since I heard so much talk about the LF I think it may be my next grow.

@WeTokeChronic, did you make that, and did you have a journal for it? I was enjoying @MG_Canna’s thread when I ran across the chatter about LF. I’d love to see the grow. I’ll look around.

Happy Growing y’all.

I used a Lavender Jack male from Bodhi and I got a Vanilla Frosting clone from Dark Heart Nursery here in the Bay Area, CA! It was all about the flavor combo IMO. The Lavender Jack seeds I was going through to find a male stank of Chemicals and Jack herer but really intense. And the Vanilla Frosting was a super unique floral nose that I’ve never smelt before.
Figured it would make a good pairing since both strains had some of the best terps I’ve come across! Also crossed Lavender Jack with Mimosa because I like the trichomes on all mimosas. Fat trichome heads that are really good for extractions

Man your making it tough not to crack some of those . Plant numbers plant numbers keep reminding myself of that but it’s not working.

Do a dedicated LF grow, next run. The flavor reminded me of the 80’s NYC skunk. Not sweet skunk. Sharp astringent skunk that’s so flavorful to smoke. All my friends want nothing but LF. It hilarious. I swear it has the same affect on every single person who smokes it. I’m so happy I made a handful of seed to keep me stocked for life! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Well, I was hoping it was just the two I have but I think I have some Jack Herer, too, lol…

Is the Lavender Jack still available from Bodhi? I’d rather have that and then use my VF. I’m going to look to see if it’s still available. thx

Well, I found LJ but it’s Jack and Wookie 15, no Lavender. lol

I grew a few LF last grow. Turned out really good. Was actually the best smoke in the run.

The name is unassuming. And it doesn’t have the wow factor as some Kush buds do, but high and flavor are at the perfect for me and that’s all that matters.

yeah "Wookie’ is big buddy’s lavender x appalachia, bodhi said it’s his favorite of all the appy crosses.

Funny, I’m running some Space Monkey for seeds atm, and it’s Snow Lotus x Wookie 15 I think.

Experiment: These usually end badly. But fuck it. Gonna make a tea when I get back and get this soil living and loving. It fully inoculated. Now I need some sugars for food and humic acids to boost the uptake of available nutrients.

After pinching above the 4th nodes, I removed the top two sets of fans, to hopefully allow more even canopies to develop. Watered again to and also gave the plants a little N.

A week later……

Quite the change in a week!

It’s been 3 days. After feeding them tea made with molasses, humic acid, powdered egg shell, and mykos, also thinning some fan leaves, the plants are exploding. I had to remove one plant, as I’m out of room.

Added this Samsung 300W LED to the mix. Plants love the light but it has more red spectrum than my Growers Choice.
