Growin' and Chuckin'

Thank you. You are pure OG. I should be getting it set up in a week, once I get home. I’m super pumped.

Have you had any experience with black lime reserve? I have some crosses to BLR. The one I’m growing is BLR x OG Kush. Early sample from an accidental bud break was special.

BLR placed 12th best indica at the 2016 emerald cup. Aficionado Seeds sounds like a bunch of ultra snobby losers pushing overpriced seed. But if the OG in the cross was legit, sounds like good chances of something special.

Not sure if these will all stretch through the screen. I’ll remove the stakes once plants are growing a few inches above. Interestingly, the plant with the least resemblance to an OG has the most stretch.

Couple preview pictures of the Peacemaker. Can’t wait to see what keepers the new batch will hold.

She looks really cool. Sort of unique with all of the other best things.

We’ll see here shortly, @GMan. ! Looks like shit for yield, as expected. This run is about finding the ultimate Kush flavor.

Quick note…Dropped 12 Garlic Knots bx1 (Garlic Breath x AlienOG/Chem4) x AlienOG/Chem4) beans. This is a cross I made in 2014, and then later made f2s in 2018. And they’re coming out again. These plants are heavy and sticky.

That peacemaker does look really nice and frosty. Garlic knots bx sounds like a great strain, have any youd like to trade?

PM me if you’re in the US.

Got some new stuff going for the indoor winter season. Clones are Peacemaker, 3 male and 3 female. I gave three phenos to a friend here in Colorado. He plans to take clones and keep those going, until I have more clones for him. Speaking of which, I dropped nine Garlic Knots bx1 f2 (AlienOG/Chem4xGarlic Breath) x AlienOG/Chem4) seeds…6 looking solid, 2 unsure, and one drying up to die. I have 2 packs to give away, if anyone wants to test. What I found from the f1s we’re 2 major types. 1 pheno is exactly like what the name implies…a Classic Afghan garlic funk, and 2, a much more complex, citrus thing on top of rotting funk. I only grew a handful, which means scope of phenotypes is most likely wider. And these are f2s, widening the scope further. Also in the mix are 8 black raspberry, 4 Ghost Pepper, 1 Atomic Grape tomato, and 3 echinacea

Peppers are fun to grow too! I’m planning on collection several varieties/colors of them too. Growing black/raspberry from seed is a challenge I want to take sometime. I have a few black and raspberry varieties I started this year, next year I may try manual pollination to cross a few and save the seeds. I sought out berries that are different colors too, like gurneys white blackberry, and several yellow and a purple raspberries.

The Garlic Knots looks like a big yielder. I finally got my two Valley Vixen f2 in larger pots. They were starting to flower so I’m bringing in for a couple of extra hours of light they were glad to get more room. One started out like a male being taller than anything and super vigorous. So, happy to get them settled. I’m about to have a hell of a time in trim jail. Everything looks like they will finish about the same time. Plus I have two full 6 footers that are very full. I’ll get some pics up soon.

I can’t wait to see the finished nugs! I’m crossing the GKbx1F2 to the Peacemaker. And probably some Peacemaker f2, but headstash. Don’t want to undermine my friend. He’s still breeds this line.

I love black raspberries. Used to stop on the side of my local bike trails in NJ and pick wild black raspberries Every year, same season and places. The good old days! I’ve never grown them from seed, but expecting a 10-14 day germination. Echinacea are popped, 2 of the 4 peppers popped,

For the berry seeds, did you do the acid soak first before putting them in the fridge?
I never tried any raspberries besides store bought Reds until I grew my own gold ones. I have a black raspberry plant on order for fall planting… going into containers for the first winter.

Directions said to plant directly in soil, keep moist, germinates in 4-6 weeks. That’s a long time, but I’m trying. I know I can order raspberry plants on line but it’s still a plant from an outside source that could possibly have aphids or mites or something. If these seeds don’t work, I’ll buy some plants early in the spring and build a makeshift greenhouse outside for them

Ah, if they were seeds you bought, hope they pre treated them, and did the chill period lol. Yea they take a while, since fresh ones need to have their outer coating removed (being digested), then sat through a winter, and sprout in the spring.
