I was curious if anyone else uses Master Blend with compost teas or if its even advised??

When I was running Jacks I often would intermittently feed with various teas. Like one feeding jacks the next feeding root organics bloom. With the teas I would always go well under whatever the bag recommended.

I knid ve did that last year ,Master Blend ,Alaska Fish Ferts and compost teas… I fill huge trash cans with water and let it sit for a week then I collect rain when they get low… I m growing the LSGTK strain and if you can get 10lbs this strain is the strain to do it… I dug out deep and wide holes probly way to big and used loom and Ocean forest potting soil mix to fill in ,I also tossed in some night crawlers hoping they l;l enjoy there new home and help out my plants… First time to do it this way so I m hoping it works well. Either way this is such a cool thread.

What are some of the best yielding genetics you’ve used? I know I’ve heard Blue Dream can yield like that outdoors, but haven’t heard of many others. Hoping next year I can buy land for a legal grow outdoors and I’m trying to get the biggest yield possible.

Usually it’s less about the strain, and more about the genetics, and the source of that strain being selectively bred and strengthened to have a heavy yield.
So instead of searching for high yielding strains, search for a proper seed company.
I’ve had a lot of luck with TGA genetics, and Crockett Family Farms. Those companies consistently providing seeds that have yielded 10+ pound plants.
But for example, I’ve also received clones from selective breeders of classic Sour D , GG4 , and gelato that aren’t usually known to be high yielding , but I’ve pulled 3-5lbs off each plant outdoor…
I suggest talking with locals in your climate zone, and generational breeders in your area- that will really up your chances of getting big yields, I’ve had old guys out in NorCal who don’t even have a brand or specific flavor profiles, nothing flashy, no frills straight to the point classic strains, and they are putting out stronger phenotypes than 95% of big popular brands.

@bluntmassa

Doubt it
I grew a plant that was easily 15 feet tall
Loaded with huge buds.
We filled up 12 plastic Walmart food bags packed with buds.
Then it dried lol.
Prolly got 1.5 lbs off that bitch dry
I dunno for sure, I was paid 1k for the plant
After harvest as is and off it went.
But who knows I guess, that’s Been

Have you ever had a split in a stalk near the base, and how did you deal with it?

Can you show us a picture of a 10# plant? looks like like my 3-4 pounders in the shot you provided.

My roots hit the salt water table and stall me out.
What would you do about that ? I cant exactly plant in 10’ mounds above the ground.

Planting in 400-gallon bags on top of the ground will take care of you.

hmm yeah i guess i am not able to plant in the ground anymore.
That does seem like a solid suggestion. Even my 2’ raised bed doesn’t do the trick so i guess i have to separate it from the earth completely.
