So gone the next three days doing a consumption test while I’m gone just to see what will be needed the following weekend when I’m gone for 10 days, whether they get thrown in a window instead or lights turned down or whatever.
Sunday rolloff and update will likely be in the evening just fyi to everyone, unless I do the rolloff remotely.

no update or giveaway today as it was a travel day for me, could take photos with my work phone though left my personal phone behind at the fam’s so won’t have it for a week.
Ill do an update Tuesday, gonna be another “this died cause this”, “me doing this caused this”, “in hind sight …” “and im gonna pair things this way though with 5 days left were just winging it.”

Also happened to grab photos on my work phone seeings how im sans my personal phone for a week.

So come the end of the week im gone for 10+ days so bare that in mind with why the reduction of plants.
So right hand side, ended up doing a flush on the two GOC’s as i was seeing some K issues and was trying to reset their root zones at base levels as far as nutrients goes lets just say i should of left them alone as they didn’t like it in the slightest and ended up consuming there fan leaves in the process when i was away.
Anyways whats left on that side is one GOC and the Wedding cake im waiting on pollen for.
Left side we have some missing plants and one GOC has been moved over, heres the break down the BBK still wasn’t showing visible trichome production so not gonna waste time keeping it going and it just gonna be a water sink per say, i was debating keeping the the green pheno Purple lemonade to make f2’s though it just didn’t have much promise and the smell was more camphor, green and solvent than anything else and when compared to the purple sts sprayed other one which has a lemon grapey fruity smell i just figures that sent would be loss and the bud structure or yield would be diminished if i paired that with the green pheno, thus the bigger GOC was brought over its smell more closely pairs with the good PL i believe and also has alot better bud structure so now the plan is to pair those two, also i plan to save some of the PL pollen to potentially throw at some DarkSparks just to make or attempt a V2 version of them just cause that PL is in the wheel house of smells i was going after with the Darkdevil and DarkSparks originally.
Also you may notice something, or i should say a lack of something as some of these plants are approaching 2 weeks with out autowaters doing so by the use of wicks… hindsight they work, though still gonna go back to autowaters as the roots drive down so hard they have been lifting the plants out of their own pots and or pinching out the wick in one case already, likely gonna play some more or utilize wicks for say the first two weeks or so as thats where autowaters are a pain and i typically hand water anyways.

@Mr.Sparkle, pardon my ignorance, I was wondering how you can get such thick stems, correct me if I’m wrong, inside the rectangle underneath the pot there is water and nutes, right!? I know it’s micro, but what should I call this type of rig!?

plant grows, stem grows … and yes its just a reservoir best description for all of it when running my pumps and 4 port dripper heads would likely be a “top watering recirculating autowatering setup”
and honestly at this point this run is no where near a good one, playing, issues, and me culling plants

I’ve seen them in pics before… is it that you’re currently not using them and you put them back after photograph taken? Or am I missing something here? Pardon the doubt, is it dripping on top in addition to the reservoir? Or they work separately!?
Think I’ll cry now! 
Jokes apart, I can only take this as an incentive to strive for higher grounds, that is, way more learning to do awaits me! LOL!
Me too! I’d say the difference is that, unllike you, I do it 95% out of lack of knowledge!

havent been using them on some of the plants for up to two weeks now, they are currently running wicks thus why you don’t see them but if you went back say three weeks you would, people running octopots and the likes had me thinking, and i have run wicks in the past thus i gave it another go, hindsight there are some challenges with going that route.but nothing that can’t be played with if i so desire.

Alright last update for awhile seeings how im gonna be away all next week this weekend and next.
Day45/37
Right side the deed has been done, starting dusting pollen on the GOC on this side, hopefully we get some seeds out and if we do they will be given to the solo cup contest participants. Ill be chopping the pollen producing Wedding cake likely tomorrow or tonight after i dust a bit more pollen on the GOC on this side.
Left side, also still waiting on pollen From the Purple Lemonade and the GOC on this side is extra unhappy though i think it just needs to be left alone at this point. i’m gonna try and keep both of these going while im gone, allowing random pollination to occur and will collect whatever pollen is still there in a week+ from now.

Day57/49
Well they survived sorta on my 12 day absence.
Looks like the res tanked pH wise “5.2-5.4ish” on the ones supporting the plants that were having issues and they ate themselves and kinda went south or at least the right hand one quite a bit.
Also got a bunch of pollen off the purple lemonade so that goal is achieved just need to dry it out now. Also some new seedling i tried wicks with, two the roots i think got ate by by some rot, third recovered, and other two seemed fine thus the bigger ones.
Anyways, did some cleanup and reduced the weakling plants and the pollen plant after collection so time to get started on a new round.
As they were upon arriving home after 12 days.
And after cleanup and refining, also rehooked up the pumps with the thought to do some cycle over to maybe get the old plants to be a bit happier till the end though ill reassess in the neck couple days if the one is a lost cause.

First look at the grow after an extended absence is always a heart in throat moment.
That said your setup seemed like a good bet to do better than average unattended for 12 days.
I guess you are a mere mortal like the rest of us…
Sorry they didn’t do better while you were away.
The silver lining is you get to pop some more beans!!!

The outcome realistically was expected, the two plants were fading/lockout previous to before I left, so luck they would of corrected themselves if say the reservoirs pH stayed stable, though it didn’t so it just continued on.
Still got pollen and two new plants out of it plus the one will definitely finish with some seeds the other though I’ll know by at least the weekend.

Day 59 and whatever the little ones are
Moving along sorta, clipped one dead branch from the worse off plant both seem to be forming seeds front definitely more so than the other, as for the little ones turn off the pump and will let them dry a bit just too wet for now.
Also dunked some more seeds which we should have some ready to go come the weekend.
