Have you tried diluting less? Instead of 9:1 maybe 8:2? I did that this last go and it worked for me. And would keep you from wasting your stock.

CS I make my own and my silver will last my lifetime, as for STS constituents I have enough for quite a bit and have running more concentrated sts solutions but again seems degraded

Had to look in my journals and messages the base parts are a year and half old, now im not saying that initial mix maybe had something go wrong cause who knows shouldn’t have ideally in there respected parts they should last a good long while if not indefinitely.
Another issue is if you don’t get to the plants early enough the flowering ethylene production is ramped up so your fighting trying to knock that back which is another hurtle, i typically wait till i start to see some structure and rough idea of whats going on and make selections which typically happens right at the start of the stretch/flower stage so im kinda shooting myself in the foot so to speak as when i start to spray its still gonna be another 10+ days before you see anything and if i missed gauged say a short time span auto it could be in full flower before that 10+ day point comes along, where as if you just started early on say all plants in one group even before you start to see any real structure your conversion rate and frequency would be higher most likely.
Saying that one plant which is less in flower mode looks to be doing some male like things but its really to early to tell at the moment, the other being a bubbacrack its in flower mode and i dont have much hope for it.

This issues you have highlighted all seems to loops back to the biggest challenge in breeding auto’s, the inability to keep clones of proven parents. You want to see what a potential breeding parent has to offer before deciding to use it (or not), at which point it is possibly too late to use it, or to reverse it then use it, or maybe by the time it is dropping pollen it is too late for the chosen mate.
But this also opens up the auto breeding game to serious home breeders, and somewhat reduces the barriers to entry, as compared to photoperiods.
I guess frozen pollen is as close to keeping a clone as we can get. Makes me wonder how long pollen could be kept viable under an optimized freezing, storage, and thawing protocol (for example, slowly frozen in a home freezer, versus flash frozen in liquid nitrogen, storage at 0 degrees versus storage at -70, drying method and duration before freezing…).

I have successfully stored and used auto pollen for 2 years. Plenty of time to do some progeny testing. Heck I still have it, wonder if it’s still viable… I will have to test that for science. 
What I am attempting to do is breed several inbred lines so that most of the seeds have the desired traits. Then crossing those lines to make true F1 hybrids.
As a hobby, this will likely take me years to accomplish. But it sure is fun!

Day 44/28/19
Been slacking i should do some res swap outs, mix up another batch of sts, get some more of those black style reservoirs done up and space some plants around by removing some.
So JLo’s and Dragon Heart doing there thing, where i hit them with pollen they are well working on seeds with nice plump calyxs, odd thing and not saying cross contamination isnt at fault but the front Jlo which i didn’t hit with pollen is doing a whole micro seed thing its not actually forming any true seeds just has alot of pistil die back with micro seeds and even if day 44 something is up where it may be done in the next two weeks with the way its looking, i should probably flush the pot and re-level them with fresh nutes.
As for the sts sprayed plants, maybe signs ? not confident in the little one, bigger one i think has a chance, just need to spray a bit more encase.
Plants on the right should be two per res not 3 and the little ones id like to make 2 per the new style res though i can swing that yet unless i cull one or two plants over all or plant one out on the patio which was the original plan.
As for the top cab they are continuing on and looking good at 4 weeks.

I can only imagine how many people are going to be disappointed to read this… I had no intentions of doing it but always admired your setup so to find out I couldn’t replicate them is a bit of a bummer. And yes I know other similar sized items would work but it’s the principal of the thing!

Well when i say not available anymore i mean more in North America as some EU countries they still have them the shorter ones that is you can get taller ones in the same size and now in a bunch of different colours but they were just too tall for me when having the plants sit on top of them, but yeah sucks i was on the hunt for suitable same style containers on i built the third cab and even before it.
Saying that im migrating over to the Ikea Uppsnofsad containers and insetting the pots like the top cab, so height is very similar, they’re cheaper and the inset humidity seems to help them along, plus bigger reservoir size, only down side is they arent as wide so i can’t fit as many pots on if doing say selections, but i can keep those around for starts and then swap them out to the bigger reservoirs after, or maybe just tray start them and bottom water…

Day 47/31/22
Jlo’s and Dragon heart looking like there on the tail end of things, with the two sts plants showing some forming pollen sacs though i should keep up on the smaller fuzzier one.
Top cab doing its thing, no frost on anything yet mind you only 31days from sprout.
Left cab got a reshuffle and put in one of the newer reservoirs which is just bottom wicking the two younger plants at the moment.

Day 49/33/24
Top cab the left hand side went dry plus we had a heat wave over the weekend, so got in there and stripped some damaged leaves and did an under canopy cleaning on all the plants while i was at it.
Right cab, the dragon heart looks about done with no new pistils and calyxs forming and the back Jlo is fading hard and throwing a rainbow of colors, likely ill chop all the non seed bearing branches when applicable, As for the STS plants they are still doing there thing still gonna be a week at least.
Left cab, right side still bottom wicking and left side is doing well.

Day 51/35/26
Top cab has stopped growing they have definitely been slowed by pot size limitations for a bit now, also are starting to be prime to hit with some pollen possibly but waiting on that.
Right cab, The dragon heart in the back right will be done come the weekend, with the back left jlo following probably by a couple days, and still a good while for the STS plants to produce pollen.
Left cab looking healthy, plus some added brussels sprouts starts for the garden.

So i have a pollen dilemma, Waiting on sts plants to produce some which likely is gonna be another week at least if at all using that we would have some fem auto seeds, second option is i have some male jlo pollen, which would make some reg auto seeds, im just not sure that it will pair necessarily well, or use some photo period pollen Reiko sent me, that was also gonna be used on some purple wookie photo periods once i grow them.

If you have more seed of your desired parents then I would try to collect and save the pollen from the STS plants, finish running the current cohort for sinsemilla flower, and drop replacement pollen receivers ASAP to hit with the collected pollen. Stick with your intention!
But that’s just my $.02, you have a better handle on your situation than I do.

yeah nothing will be started till after the first week in aug, and for some of these plants i do not have replacements, saying that any collected pollen will likely be used on the next round as well
