Day 19/14/8
Bigger ones are starting to flower, front left has been sprayed a couple times but need to keep at it and remembering to spray it at lights out.
Removed one of the DD seedlings as it was the runt and also a tri , but allowed me to move or the lone Poisoned Rose Cookie devil that didnt have a watering spot from the other side.
running at 1.55 ec on the MC at starting pH of 5.7, my left overs this mornign were 1.75 at 6.1 in the res with the bigger plants, also separated out that res on it own timer and have increased the watering frequency to three times a day at 5secs an event vs the 2 times and 4 secs it was at.

Crazy on those ppm levels for Coco compared to DWC. I never got past 1.2 EC on my last grow in DWC and was getting burn at that point! On 3ft+ plants!

well also depends on the nutrients used too, but dwc you typically need less but ive never ventured down that route fully

Day 21/16/10
Guess moving along on the small side for the age there at, but guess i just need to work on the starts a bit more.
Also may do some plant reductions over the next week just to open up space and remove less desirable plants.
Adjusted all my reservoirs pH back down last night into the 5.7ish range as they still have plenty of water left, so will do a swap out once they run low in a couple days, and changed up the watering timers most are on 6 secs every 480min (3 times a day) with the bigger plants having a 10 sec watering time, think thats about it oh and lowered by temp setpoint for the fan to 28C but that will cause the RH to drop lower than id like but oh well that or high temps.

Growing, bit on the slower side though at least for the smaller plants, also CS spray isn’t working also doesn’t help that i forgot about it last night and its an old batch and i started a bit latter, so undecided on what im gonna do also not too concerned as im going on some more time away in 3-4 weeks anyways.
Filled the reservoirs this morning as got woken up to the sound of a pump running dry “just a distinctive sound”, and the peat potting mix plants are still running on just ph’ed water.

yeah pretty much lol, mine has two tone warning control though with those settings being gurgle mode, and squeal mode. Gurgle mode gives me about two watering events before Squeal mode comes in then i have a day maybe half that depending on plant size to fill the res, so plenty of time if one has a keen ear and is around to notice it.
Did a light fill on the right side cabs left rez this morning but the plants must of been thirsty cause hit gurgle mode tonight, so i’ll make up a second bucket tomorrow and max them all out, mind you i took out two plants on the right side, so water consumption will be down a to 3/4’s starting now they fill back in the space.

I know these modes all too well! I was going to say “squeeealing” but thought that was just me lol. I am just running circ pumps and grav feed so squealing is fine means the bottom feed trays are full, gurgling is getting critical but the plants will take a few days to really show signs of drought in big pots of soil. The third most feared mode is the whistling mode basically the last groans of the pump sucking air, hope to never hear that one first thing in the am Thirsty is a good sign, looking forward to seeing what you fill back up with!

I have been spraying 2 plants with STS I thought it wasn’t working, but yesterday I found a single male flower next to each bud on the sprayed branches.
My first time using STS and I was under the impression that it would stop the female buds development completely, or is it a slow take over, gradually producing more male flowers, or do you think it will just keep producing just one per female bud growing site.
Have you experienced different strains creating male flowers in differing amounts ?
