Growing with Mr.Sparkle : Trials & Progression 2020

I was on the fence on this one, and it was gonna be more dictated by if the Cream Mandarins needed room, but one of them will go first before this plant does and also im not far out of some of the others either.

So higher likelihood it will stay till harvest.

2 days later, culled one of the cream mandarins to give room to the other one and the smallest seedlign on the left side, also added water and pH the reservoirs tonight as i did a heavy watering with alot of run of and that cause both reservoirs to spike to 2.45 and 2.6ish so they are back down to 1.8.

Im just not pushing through enough water during regular watering, but im trying to approaching things different than how i use to run, so its gonna take some tweaking to get it more dialed in.

Doing great. Really impressed with the results in the space you have. Truly optimized.

Thanks for the compliment, and im actually far from optimized just hiccups and all and working my way forward towards it.

Flowering plant side, rearranged and removed the Cream Mandarins that weren’t doing anything for me mainly structure reasons.

The DDf2’s, will wait a bit before any decisions are made, but wouldn’t mind getting them on the watering system soon.

And the GT2xSBR’s

Both sides im back playing with more light as of today just to see how the plants behave.

I believe you could shave yourself reflecting in those shiny and impollute walls , really like your clean and tidy setup, the excellent results speak for themselves … :sunglasses:

It’s an adapted garden sprinkler :rofl:

Lol, that’s a 4 port dripper irrigation head, there is a small pump below that lid connected to that irrigation standoff riser, my auto watering setup …

Plants as of tonight, may slow down to pics every 3-4 days, but maybe alternate between sides so there is still regular updates.

I’ve been going through old photos as of very recent and deleting a lot trying my hand at “digital minimalism” as yeah there is a lot of photos that are just garbage or redundant on my personal drives.

But back to plant’s

Right side moving along, need to fill reservoirs tonight, and pulled out a couple plants on the left side either a straggler in the case of the one GT2xSBR, and the two DDf2’s as they were showing the whorled phyllotaxy type trait on the 2nd node which has been somewhat characteristic in carrying over bad growth and mutant traits that show up in further generations… Not saying they wouldn’t of grown out to be nice and tasty plants, but just what has to happen if im looking to go after more stable plants.

Plants 3 days later, flowering one are starting to show orange pistils so not long, should see how many days were in.

Other side just removed on DDf2 as wasn’t something i would of used.

Update. left side, back left two plants are the ones im liking, the DDf2 is gonna be a purple/red style pheno, won’t know fully till later in what fashion but a branch on it will be used to try and get some pollen via CS, and the GT2xSBR beside it i like the leaves of it’s also the only one that doesn’t have the tri segmented whorled phyllotaxy thing going on off the 2nd node shoots like the rest of them. Just wanting to be careful on the mutant side of thing, but ill be selecting through the others just for best looking plants to me.

Right side will be finished up in the next week of the flowering plants, the greens i never got some pollen off, change in my CS making process and just made too weak of a batch. Upside of growing them out, is i know have an idea of where i want to go with them, gonna go after a purple pistil pheno just cause it produces the most resin, but contributes a nice end color and smell and bit of flare for fun, but ill be crossing that to a shorter node distance calyx stacking pheno for structure and trim ability… or thats the future idea anyways.

Looking good! At least now you have a solid plan around which phenos you like and want to move forward with. :+1:

made some quick alcohol resin earlier, really like the way it came out i definitely wasn’t expecting this clarity with day old popcorn lowers and room temp alcohol, think im gonna do all the bud tomorrow, maybe leave one bud to dry and jar.

This is from that DDxSBR i post and cut yesterday

also took the end shot for the C9D mainly just for my own photo’s, didn’t want to but hey guess it shows not everything runs or is nice, just a part of moving forward.

That’s got nice color! How many filters do you run it through?

that was none, with about a 1min or so wash, and pinched out with my fingers, and evaporated off in a quick diy parchment dish

why i was surprised how clean it was.

So you just put the nuggets into the iso then picked it out? Lol that’s awesome, how much bud did you use?

always use room temp ever clear …not sure why you would want it cold …cold is to make trics brittle so they break off when doing bubble hash and with ever clear your melting them off so no need for cold imho …looks just like what i end up with …love dat shit

River, the cold keeps the water soluble (chlorophyll) uptake down.
