Scotts OG 1, i get a bubblegum smell from her now. Not near the trichome coverage as Scotts OG 2, but this one has a very interesting smell development.
Btw, i do have a small amount of Scotts OG x Guerrilla Fume seeds i still havent shucked… i may pass some outeventually, if theres interest in them
Dank Zappas and Gooey Fume
The Dank Zappas smell awful… one smells like a weird rotten citrus or something… the other two are wild smelling. Rotten something/barf/floral/incence among other things. Very hard to place the smells… but they are not of the “pretty” distinction. Lol

I’ve had a couple plants smell really unpleasant to me. The taste however didn’t seem to have that unpleasant carryover

Yeah, I usually get pretty excited about super-gnarly-smelling plants, just because it almost always means that they’re not gonna taste anything like the way they smell haha. It’s been my experience that the grosser they smell, the better they taste.

I don’t know how I’d feel about vomit terps and whatnot. I haven’t even sampled the Uzbekistan Hashplant cross I grew outdoors this year because it has a super unpleasant like sour dirt smell to it that really put me off, but @minitiger youre making me think I got a try it to see if it has a different trippy flavor to it

Yeah, I once chopped down a strain simply called “Fruit” that almost made me throw up from the smell it gave but I saved it since it yielded so large. About a month into cure came the “fruit” terps. Very strange indeed.

But yeah, I’ve never grown anything that smelled gross that didn’t taste really good. Bodhi’s Clusterfunk immediately comes to mind, but I’m sure there’ve been others that I can’t think of right now. I mean, even if something I’ve grown doesn’t smell gnarly, it rarely tastes the exact same way as it smells.
