Blockquote 4. What about photo metadata?
Photos is JPG format are accompanied with EXIF data that include e.g. camera type and camera settings. We strip all metadata from photos before publishing them so they canāt be used for identification.
This is awesome! I was thinking about figuring out how to do this before uploading/posting any pics, but if you guys take care of that then all the better!!!
thanks for the tip! I never heard of doing the collapse thing & Iām a pro photographer (only meaning I get paid for it, not that Iām a guru). I now need a few hours to lose MY mind doing that, but seeing or comparing multiple angles to get the structure? example please?
the Inshot app is free for editing & creating vids & using effects & filters. if you like it, costs $10 a year, which i happily pay for the ability to add voice over or add effects to a song or audio.
itās also for puc editing but Iāve only used the vid editing, it replaced the tiktok editor that was free but not free. I hope this helps.
Pixlr app is free & great pic editor. also Retouch is free & it easily removes say power lines from a sunset shot, or people next to a car show vehicle.
Donāt have a grow going ATM unless you count an off season window grow of a volunteer F2. Impregnated by a pair of same.
The plant is a Herijuana (photo-sensitive) cross with a pretty random Auto Flower from Niteowl. I call the line Novice.
Both the parents were fast winter flowering F1s presumably with Auto Flower dominant genetics. There were two identifiable phenos in the summerās Novice F1. I call them Dark Novice and Light Novice (for their shade of green) the dark has earth and spice terps and the Light is green and fruity. The Light caught some of the Heriās intensity and maybe a little of its creativity unleashing quality. Thatās the trait I am looking for in this Auto Flower cross.
Hey everyoneā¦ I had problems with the pics on my brand new I phone . I think the camera is very good and I had to take screen shots of pics. Those loaded correctly. I am assuming the original pic had to many pixels?
Yes my phone too all my pics are to big WTF how do I fix this the pictures need to be less than 700 kb Iāve cropped my pictures an itās still not loading what do I do Iāve went into camera settings and nothing so just do screen shots of em now ok Iāll try that
@Cummings420 Try taking screenshots of your pictures. That helped me load them correctly. Whenever I have that problem which is not every time anymore, I take a screenshot and load the screenshot picture seems to work. Cheers !!!
@LemonadeJoe Iām not sure you guys are more tech savvy than I am lol. I thought it had to do with the sizing of the picture but again Iām not as tech savvy as some of you guys are. I figured Iād share and maybe someone that has more knowledge in that area can explain it.
Ok. Moved to more appropriate topic. Have you got any idea about the size (MB) and resolution (pixels) of the photos you have trouble uploading? Which browser do you use?
All good questions I will have to find the answers and follow up. When I got the newest I phone a short while back I could not load pictures from that phone. I had to take screenshots of the originals. I assumed the camera was just higher quality as it appears to be better pics. Give me a short bit Iāll figure out the answers. I think I might not be the only one who has this issue when they get the newest phone. Hopefully, itās just a Settings thing. You guys are far more savvy than I am so Iāll be relying on you guys lol. Thanks @LemonadeJoe
@LemonadeJoe I just went back and tried to load pictures I had problems with and had to take screenshots. Those pictures loaded just fine right now. So I might have to eat my words lol. Was there a recent upgrade or adjustment that could have fixed that? Anyway, any picture I picked now seems to load without problems . Thank You Sir !!!
The upgrade took place back in August. But we raised the limits (to 45 megapixels), I think, about a month ago when this topic came up. So maybe that addressed your issue. Anyway, Iām glad itās working for you now.
Thatās what it says I have to do resize them to 700kb I donāt know but I do know itās my phone doing it not ur guys platform so Iāll keep trying to figure it out THANK U JOE
Hey @Cummings420 , I also use Android, can you look and see what you phone is saving your pics as? Should be a .JPG file. When I switched my phone recently I found the phone was saving my pictures as .HEIF and gave me issues uploading. This could just be format issue. When uploading animated gifs the system limit is set to 700kb but I just uploaded 3 pics of my grow and the pics were around 5mb each. So this could be a format issue.
Doug is right. There should be no reason to do it manually if the photo is a common JPG file. It happens automatically.
Currently, there is no limit on file size, but rather on resolution. Uploading files up to 25 megabytes works fine for me, as long as theyāre under 40 megapixels.
Images that are 40 megapixels are huge, at a resolution of 8000x5000, which equals 40 million pixels. These kinds of files come from newer mirrorless cameras like the Fuji X100VI.
