Half red half white hairs on bud? Wth

So I have some bud that I took down, and I mean not much but it’s dried now and the hairs on the bud are half red, then they are half white. Each hair is like this,…?! Could someone chime in on this. I’ll try to get a good picture.

Can’t get a good pic.

Ive seen it before the top half is a reddish pink and the bottom half is white… I have no idea what causes it though :joy:

It’s the other way around, bottom half red, top half white. It’s tripping me out.

It’s actually very interesting I’ve never heard of it before you,… very odd. I bet it’ll smoke the same, but I don’t know what to think besides it’s just not normal for me. :upside_down_face:

I think this is caused from having the light too close in late flowering?

My first cmh grow…

It looks like its pushing out some new flowers, did you give it a strong feed or anything? Your leaves look a little crispy too, that could just be some purpling though

Sounds like light bleaching to me. If thats the case the white tops in the buds lack in potency.

No, light bleaching effects the leaves and calyxes too. If you look in the pic, those look like new growth.

It’s new growth-

I fed it with my new batch of indonesian bat guano tea at 2Tbs per gallon.

Burnt the tips…

Also chasing what I believe is a calcium deficiency.

It’s in 7 gallons of my first batch of supersoil in many moons.

Do you think the hot guano tea sparked up the new growth?

That would be my guess. I’ve done it myself before, which was why that was my first thought lol.

Lights on, seeing a little new growth on another plant that took the hot guano-

Maybe I can make it “dread out” with indo guano?

I paid for these beans, so don’t care if the fans are crispy-
