Ah man, I need to sand my bathroom. Thanks for reminding me dude!
Thank you sir, honestly it’s the genetics…they took a beating with the ph fluctuations, I dropped my pen and never thought to recalibrate it till yesterday…don’t know if it was the drop, or it was just overdue to recalibrate it, but it was off by .4-5… so I thought my tap water was 7, when it was actually closer to 7.5 and when I did my 4 week flush to get rid of any build up and raise the run off a bit, it raised raised it up a bit to high for them, and got a couple lockouts…
Lesson learned check pens more frequently, just glad it wasn’t disastrous, and just made blemishes on a few leafs.
Don’t think it really did to much to them, just wanted to make them look nice and purdy for Lefty and Pedro…
, yes…when you know it’s there, it’s all you can see sometimes
I sand for seeds… no really, I pretty much do…
Had same issue with mine keep hearing clean yer shit every month…Okay mine was off by a point whoops like you said live and learn! My ec meter have two giving different readings 5 degrees and up to 400 on ec
I checked my ec as well, that was fine, and I use them both the same amount, which makes me think the drop may have done it. Glad it didn’t break, these damn blulabs are costly
Very true well my ec meters a piece of well $18 off amazon what ec meter you using and have any input on the blu lab truncheons?
I grabbed a blue lab tool box, had both ph and ec meter in it.
Apparently it’s the world’s favorite ec meter… so I just read
I dunno, never used one, but I do like alot of the features it has, the one I like most is no maintenance
Well shit I had no idea it was world famous! Don’t know if I deserve to use something that damn fancy. I’m with you on the maintenance if it’s reliable.
Everything is looking good. Is everything done straight 12/12?
Hey Pedro!!! Hope all good in your neck of the woods.
Yes sir, 1st week of breaking through the soil, they get 24 n 0 then after 7 days of that, 12 n 12 for the rest of their lives. They range from 20" to 33" from dirt to top of plant.
Just ordered me a new light since they’re on sale.
And to go with it, gonna order a 4x4 Gorilla tent next week with the stability bars, so I can use ALL the space and not have the tent sucking in.
Maybe now I can actually have a bit of veg in my grows with the extra hight, and be able to get fades, since I’ll actually know what week they’re on, instead of guessing
The bars half way up is a great idea, it sucks when your tent wants to cuddle your plants.
Yes it sure does, plus they are great if I wanna run a scrog, will keep that dreadful net sag from happening.
I made some after 6 weeks from getting my tent, to stop that happening, I used 3x1 deck strapping, which also acted as a nice little shelf to clip fans and other stuff to it, instead of the vertical poles.
Edit probably cheaper now to buy the real thing with lumber prices through the roof
I made some at my shared setup with 1" pvc tubing, cut a notch for the pole ti fit, drilled a hole for a zip tye, then zip tied them to the poles works well, but I’d just like to have the real deal, plus they’re more ridged than the pvc, it still had a bit of give to it.
May 24,
24 days old, topped day 21 and bent over today.
The French Macaron doesn’t seem to be a branchy girl at all, like nothing…
Had to cut a couple nodes down on the Blueberry Headband, she was getting too tall too quickly.
Washing Machine is looking good, my favorite so far.
My next favorite is the Lemonator, short stature and bushy.
Looking dam good big fat colas everywhere.
Thanks man!!
Just wish I could make them a foot or so taller, maybe in the fall when I setup my new Gorilla tent and the new sf4000 from Spider Farmer.
Will be able to fit 12 2 gal square pots in there comfortably and with an extra foot of hight
