Has anyone ever used Jack's 20-20-20 all purpose for mother plants?

If you need “cal-mag”… a couple breakdowns to know what they add

I understand the type of calcium in calimagic is different than cal-nit type, but it provides the CA at a low N cost. There may be other ways to get the ca/mg.

Here’s my Agent K keeper clone. Can’t remember how long she’s been in here.

You can add calcium nitrate and Epsom salt to Jack’s to up the calcium and magnesium. I also use calcium hydroxide as pH up to add calcium.

Is that the 3-2-1 formula then? Can I just do that with the 20-20-20 for my moms to keep them small?

Calcium nitrate is something like 15-0-0 with ~18% calcium. You can add it to your base nutrient 20-20-20 (though I would use the 15-5-15 personally. You probably dont need that much phosphorus.) I would also keep ec low-ish for moms to keep salt build up in the media down (~0.5-1.0, depending how they act).

Thanks for the reply. I should have the Jack’s tomorrow or Thursday. I don’t have the cal-nit yet. Would it be possible to add Calimagic to the Jack’s till the cal-nit comes in?

Yea. That Calimagic is fine. Use what you have.
