Haha i was right can always spot it bc of the big strong structure abd buds. Why i love hashplants so much their frame is awesome. Got my male pnw hashplant out of the tent now for good, hes in a big box to catch the flowers. Sitting in a little window perfect spot

Yeah such easy plants to train. Popped a DLA 11 ( vintage paki x 88hp). Can’t wait to see how she :crossed_fingers:turns out.

Getting red sap off the Puck? which puck line was it? That’s pretty interesting indeed as that is not a common trait at all. The Blood, from hawaii, is the only known line, as far as i’m aware, to do that. Never heard of that being in there with those old hashplant cuts but can’t say I’ve done a TON of research on those either. Bodhi talked about using it as a marker for his plants in one of the potcast interviews he did, but don’t think he’s gotten around to that yet.

Yes it has red sap, pretty cool. Got lucky i guess never seen anything like it. They are pnw hp x puck f2s that @Radicle_Reefer gave me. Already releasing pollen after 2 weeks flip. He will be pollinating my dfc which has the gnarly branching …

I never ran into a red sap pheno in the PNWHPxPuck’s , but also wasn’t looking for it. Looks like you got lucky and found something special!

Landrace Balkh afghan hashplant coming down this weekend. This phenotype smells completely diffrent than the first one i showed at beginning of this. Has a very sweet honey suckle/ berry smell…

I’ll just throw my 2 cents in here. My understanding is that in Afghanistan, in the high mountains, they grew plants for the hash they produced. It sounds horrible, but my understanding was that they would actually walk through the plants and the resin would rub off and they would scrape it off and then mix with kief and make hash. (who wants sweat right?) lol. Anyway not sure it that is actual or not. Way back in the late 60’s was fortunate enought to get from a returning soldier that I knew some Afgan hash plant seeds. One of the best smokes I have ever grown. Big huge seeds.

Thnx man its very unique ill give it that. Bit slow but expected with a pure indica. Also the red sap male successfully pollinated a durban thai highflyer plant its on week 5 or so. Should be an interesting match of 2 old school cultivars. 4 branches fully loaded…
