i was scrolling through these new photos and just saying “dammmnnnn” when i got to your majestic af comment. i would have to say yes, you are correct!
love the veggies! what’s been your favorite to grow and eat?
and yea, there’s something about that freakshow that totally blends into your grass. is that just a quirk of your camera, or does it actually look like that in real life?
Personally I like the cucumbers because there always yield well, and my wife makes really good pickles. Everything else is awesome too, cuz salad anytime, but the pickles are special
yes agreed! great looking veggies. i actually think this is one of the side benefits to growing weed (if one is interested in it). getting back to nature and growing amazing, healthy vegetables with our own hands and feeding that to our body and mind.
thanks for sharing all this @breadwinner! it definitely motivates me.
I know right?? I know a orchid guy, he’s a Brother of mine it’s funny how many different orchids there are and how accurately they seem to imitate in such detail so many images that seem to have been conceived in dreams
He’s an amazing flower guy and orchids are amazing flower
my mom’s been through a few different flower phases in her life. i think way back when, it was roses, which were alright but they’re very thorny and i never loved the smell of roses. they also seemed to attract a lot of bugs and ants. she’s raised some gorgeous lotus blossoms as well.
but i think my favorite was when she was into dahlias. some of the biggest, most beautiful flowers i had ever seen. like the size of your head, and just bursting with color and cool petal shapes. they were like starbursts in the garden. so much better than roses!
she’s done some orchids, but it’s never been a huge thing for her oddly enough. maybe they’re too temperamental and require a greenhouse?
