Help me find a inline fan and carbon filter 420 deal

For that price i’d say go with this

I’ve bought it myself and it is commercial grade. The AC Infinity looks like a toy in comparison.

Oh, ok you will be fine then! I didn’t realize you were running a humidifier.

So one of the coolest things about AC Infinity to me is the Pro Controller. It measures the temp & humidity in your space and you can set it to turn on / off based on environmental triggers. They also sell an affordable humidifier ($50) that can plug in to the controller. It can be set to only run when the humidity gets below a certain level, and shuts off once humidity goes back up. All of these options are configurable.

There’s a lot that I’m still learning about the app and trigger settings. So far I haven’t needed them but in the near future it’s gonna be handy. I’m getting myself the humidifier before too long.

I am in michigan and I would not suggest a humidifier even in the winter but I do suggest using a dehumidifier when needed.
A humidifier may make your plants feed slower therefore grow slower.
New seedlings is really the exception to the rule so I just spray them to keep them in a humid environment.

I have seedlings in my basement right now with no humidifier and they may have seen as low as 45-50 degrees at night so not to worry about lower temps.
I mean warmer is better but nothing to worry about.
Your growth will be faster the warmer things get, to a point of course.

@Sintax
I see you are starting up…
If you need any HID hoods I have a few I could give ya I should have some bulbs too.
But
I do not have the ballasts to go with them.
I am near I-696 and 94 for reference.

Happy growing

AC is a rip off if you ask me. you could get 3 Vevor can fans for the same price with a slightly less sophisticated controller no Bluetooth. However they move the exact same cfms so definitely in my opinion well worth the savings for anybody that has a budget.

I feel the best way to compare inline fans is static pressure.
Bells and whistles aside of course.
Static pressure is the amount of air pressure that can be produced by the fan in an enclosure .

I don’t think that’s fair. They are more expensive than some, but cheaper than others.

There’s always cheaper… Not saying this vevor fan sucks (or blows), but if you search that brand on aliexpress it appears they make enough knockoffs to stock a harbor freight.

VEVOR 6": 300Pa
AC 6": 503Pa

They answered a comment on an instagram post saying sales start 4/19 at midnight, not sure if that means midnight tonight at midnight tomorrow

Id also recommend getting the new refillable carbon filter from AC infinity if its something you plan to use long term, not just test one out to see how it works for you.
Im waiting on the sale to upgrade from their cheap 6 inch duct booster fan, i use 2 of these right now in 2 2x4 tents and they do the job fine, veg tent runs on almost the lowest setting and flower tent not even 50% to keep humidity a bit lower and more air flowing.
Im planning to get a cloudline t6 with controller for the flower tent though so i can see the conditions and adjust if needed while im not home since it has wifi and the app linked

Interesting I didn’t know there was such a big difference on the static pressure. I still think it’s way too much money but I’m frugal.

I was kinda surprised also, and honestly it probably wont make a big difference in most setups. It really comes into play if you have long runs of duct, bends, filters, restricted intakes etc… but airflow does drop off rapidly once you start attaching things to the fan.
