Ok awesome!

I do have questions on genes if the kush…

I see you want a 10 ft kush plant….

I will wish you best of luck.

My question was if it was probable in what I have them in. If not, it’s no big deal, and the height really don’t matter. I’m happy with whatever the outcome is on these

I think he means broad leaf kush stays short and bushy

Ohh I see….

Yeah man you should be loonin at a couple lbs if you do it right.

I wouldn’t stress height so much as yeild…

Sum of em love a good topping
or good squeeze mainline
to get that solid upward growth
as well;
Do remember;
all plants have variations for a reason;
and have been worked
to do different things
in different conditions.

All the best!

The kush I fimmed a little, and I think I just may tie the sides, and lollypop them. The Trainwreck, not sure what to do with. Letting it do it’s thing, along with the Ky for now

For organic you definitely want bigger containers. Salts will give you bigger plants in smaller containers

I think with the wreck you just leave it alone and stake it a LOT

@JAWS can confirm if that’s accurate, lol

I’ve heard that too. That’s why left it alone

arcat needs tons of stakes, my advice run her untouched as far as topping. keep the upper portion of the plant STRIP all the lover shit.

if you top or do not clean the lower then make sure your ready for a very very very unruly plant.

Stripping the lower

1 Like

i start in the veg stage maybe a foot tall, i do a little at a time. i strip right into flower because I can not for see just how tall my girl is going to get until we get into flower and the stretch has begun. if i stretch 3 nodes id at least remove to of the lowers. by the time i get say 21 days into flower i should be or very close to having the frame i want in my wrecks.

this is to the main, now me stripping nodes from lats is also something i do but not the same as i do with the main.

Heres what I can tell you about a fast growing strain my buddy has.
He/we, also grow large plants, inside, because of plant numbers, and being in one of, if not the most unfriendly, of all unfriendly states. Also been growing ( Buddy has too ) since they very first came out with HID, in 77-78.
But anyway.
Hes got an old 2010 Barneys Farm G13 x Haze, which I believe they were still Reeferman genetics, then went to fems only of these, which were junk. And then came back out a few years ago, with regulars, but are more Indica dom, than originally.
We start rooted clones/seeds under 1000w HID. Usually a 1000w Hortilux HPS, at 24 inches. Or a 1150w Gavita DE HPS at 48 inches. Hortilux Blue 20 inches. In either cases, the seedlings are allowed to grow towards the light, and not fudge with it, until the plants start to show signs of any kind of stress. Generally, in my buddies set up, with the DE bulbs, one cant get the canopy any closer than 36 inches, and thats pushing it. Thats also as close as recommended by Gavita.
But, after rooted, ( Cool White Fluorescent ) usually in either an 18oz SOLO Cup, or 32oz Uline Deli Container, and show signs of growing, they are transplanted into a 5 gallon fabric pot. Also, I start training plants by bending them over, and making the growing tip, grow Horizontally. While also training all secondary branching to grow Vertically. And when I bend, I dont mess with the growing tip, unless I want to slow Horizontal growth, and/or possibly encourage more growth lower down. But I usually bend the plants about 15%-20% of the way down, from the growing tip.
After vegging them, for 45-60 days, they get put into a 20 gallon plastic tote, and 70 days later, the 20 gallon container, is completely packed with roots, and you can pull the whole plant stalk/rootball-20 gallons medium, out of the container, in one mass. The medium, is Promix BX.
Point is, if the plants are healthy, getting all the sun, food, and water they can get/need. 20 gallons, aint enough to reach the full potential.

Also Im not familiar with the strains youre using, as far as growing them. Some more Indica dominant plants, may hardly fill, or may not even fill 10 gallons, when completely finished. And some, may not like as much as I stated I use to blast, from early on. And many Indica types, with stiff stems, dont like to be trained as I explained, and will snap, so, if possible, its best to start mucking with them, when the stems are still soft, but one has to be careful, and some strains may rebel against it, and become shocked.
I generally like plants that stretch a lot though.
Buddy can get 24 oz, on a regular basis with 1 plant, under 1000w Hortilux HPS. More with the DE Gavta, and a bit less with 1000w Hortilux Blue Daylight.
Also after a certain point, you dont have to mess with them any more, though, I do also like the Shake the plants a bit, and slightly bend around on the branches, and also not mess with the growing tips, and from seedlings on, they have also had a slight breeze, 24/7. They are usually vegged 24 hours a day, or 20/4. Mothers kept on 18/6.-Hortilux Blue.
Outside, the G13 x Haze he has would get 10+ feet tall, and just as wide, and probably get at least 7-10 pounds off of it, in 100 gallons of soil. Probably hit 12- 15 feet too. But it would need a lot, of water. Only bad thing, its not done until almost 2nd week in November, outside.
Main things for getting them big is. Genetics. Lots of Marijuana Friendly Soil, Water, FULL Sun, Food. They need to be using tons of food, and water. Not overdosing. But, all they need.
