Herbies Hothouse V2

Hey maybe she’s the only one needed! One way to find out!! Nice work so far. And if she’s not the one, on to the next:)

BMR First pic is the female, she is sulking from the treatment

This plant might be male but must live on! Such a happy thing.

Love the smells coming from these.

What sorts of smells so far??

They all have cool hue of green blue going on!

Dank with sweet fruity undertones from some, wavering to straight dank. For my money smells change as the day goes on depending on water availability and light cycle as well. But I like what I find in these so far.

They tend to hide the nodes behind leaflets making sex identification difficult. And girls take their time about it anyway. Will choose at least two males if the other 3 are all boys.

There’s a new kid in town…

Irene sourced from FJ

Saltwater Kush are finally happy!

Thrips were sucking the liveliness out of 'em. Did I mention I hate bugs? Spiders too. All of them barefoot and traipsing thru who knows what before they walk and chew on the plants. Yikes!

Blue Moon Rocks Well, rock. 2 of the fellas are slow and still in the same box.

And the one fella was removed after donating some freshly dropped pollen on the closest low branch above to kinda give a chance at some variation. He is faster than both other males.

Replaced the two individual drivers (dead) with an HLG 240H-C2100A and running the lamps in series.

Who manufactured the dead driver? Mean Well?

yeah. the thing is I ran both on one dimmer. And without adding a resistor so I figured my bad.

I have clone with roots on one of the BMR! :+1:

All 3 BMR males have had pollen dumped on a bud site from the lone girl and been removed from the cabinet. Noting date for purpose of seed maturity. Have seen some positive signs of pollen taking.

Numbered the SWK and taking clones.

Some recent additions in the name of accuracy/science/production/efficiency-

Saltwater Kush update. Before taking apex cuts I thought it would be nice to doc them at that point. I just push it into a pre-wet rockwool cube and throw these in a solo cup with a bag on top. It seems to be working fine witn the one from number 1 so far. Anywho the lineup but first note that I chose to number the odd ones as closer to number 1 and the even ones branchier. In fact my preference from structure would be 2 and decreases from there.

the group-

First out the gate- number 1 and already topped days back to keep it out of the light.

Best branching structure on number 2

Number 3

It was overdue so all Salt Water Kush girls moved to a 3 gallon container.

And moved to the 2x4. They will get a week at least to adjust before flipping.

Meanwhile I have rooted clones of the Irene(LH) and Afgooey (RH) and stuck them in with the Blue Moon Rocks for now.

Definitely seeing a few beans in that BMR plant.

Saltwater Kush is hitting it’s stride. The #1 plant is really vigorous. Drinking twice what any of the others do. It is up front and on the right in this shot.

Irene and Blue Moon Rocks Got to make sure I bend before watering. Broke one branch on the top left

Afgooey

On the top Saltwater Kush clones 1-5 and some Black Dakini Kush clones all rooted and lookng for an up pot, On the bottom SR71 Purple Kush those will go out next week to a friend who is running them next.

The clones pictured were taken together, the same plants were cloned. The Blue Moon Rocks up front and Irene in the back. The only difference in each case is the pot sizes. Then on the right the one Afgooey I took.

Saltwater Kush

The far left plant is Irene above. I swapped it from the other cabinet. Not easy to see them individually above but in 12/12 at least 14 days now so can get an idea of how much they will stretch here. As they start to show some buds we will get a better look

Blue Moon Rocks I don’t think this plant likes high humidity. Should be getting close to winding down. There do appear to be some seeds here and there.

Afgooey

SWK #5 iirc They are all doing this spread formation after the apex cuts were taken and LST. They would stretch a lot straight up if permitted. I moved Irene because the shoots were so tender. After the second time taping a branch back together I just moved it.

Blue Moon Rocks is down and is drying. There will be seeds @catapult

Saltwater Kush is finally finished stretching perhaps.

#3 I think it is in the rear is trying to turn into a vine-

Irene did not get a big pot or long enough veg time, but certainly stretched as much as the Saltwater Kush, She is stacking nice though.

Afgooey is a floppy mess and a mass of buds.

and the other Saltwater Kush think that one is #4

Nice Herbie! The BMR girl had that chunky bubba look. Did she have a smell to her?

Definitely. More fuel and pine in it than I expected. Will see what it is like in the jar and cured though.

That’s a fun surprise! Nice work w her:)

Afgooey fruity and sweet. No stretch to this at all. All the same every inch of stem seems to have bud on. I cleaned her legs early.

Irene moved her back to the cabinet now. She seems more amenable to bending now.

Saltwater Kush
#1 up front

#2 in the back

#3 in the corner

#4 moved back to the tent and on a 6 inch foam piece to raise it up.

Afgooey came down. She was a fast finisher. Smells awesome, veery sticky. After 5 days of hang time there is a bit of pepper in there.

All the Saltwater Kush clones auto’ed in 2 inch pots so they are gone. Sad, 'cause that stuff is smelling awesome.

Blue Moon Rocks is a creeper. No upfront euphoria here. Soon will flower this seedless. It only has a 10 day cure and is a seeded plant so not going to try to describe the flavor, but it is nice to have something I grew these days. As usual the homegrown is smoother and less harsh.
