I’m going to start putting my stamps on the bottom right hand corner of my envelopes because I’m a sadist.

Hey folks! It was a wonderful evening last night so I smoked a bowl and walked around to take a few shots of the yard while doing the sundown check-ups. :slight_smile:

Happy Friday everyone!

It’s crazy how small of a pot you have that bonsai guava tree in, does a smaller pot help with the bonsai technique?

Yes. The root mass with dictate the tree size. I also prune this fucker back… A LOT to get it bushy like a 70’s porn star. :wink:

that is quite an achievement keeping it alive that long, that is awesome!

we also have a small garden pond with about a six foot long water fall. you will be amazed at the wild life and critters that the sound of running / dripping water will be drawn in to your pond. “they say a robin can hear a drop of water from a mile away” not sure if it is true but when we fire ours up in the spring time it is very noticeable that all types of critters are drawn to it. turkeys squirrels birds frogs and also the trouble makers coons and skunks in the spring then they seem to move off. it truly is something to enjoy when relaxing in the garden. love watching the birds drink and bathe.

Yup! We have 3x water sources for the animals, feeders, stations, etc.

With all our co-habitation with the local critters efforts in place our yard has even been certified as a “Wildlife-friendly Habitat”. :grin: :+1:

that is great. i have been pondering the wildlife sanctuary certification for my home / yard also for some time now. we are also over qualified with plants & critters, i should pull the trigger on this. once certified as a sanctuary no further development can take place. :wink: :v:

Yeah I get looks from the neighbours when I have the plug in kettle in my hands and I’m seemingly watering the cracks or stones on my patio, ponds or other places with boiling water.

One day a neighbour asked; “What is it you’re doing?”

“Killing the weeds and their seeds.”, i replied.

The next day I saw her doing the same thing but then she burnt herself so her husband is picking them out again by hand. :rofl:

@420noob , @mainerJ , @ColeLennon , @ElGalloBlanco thanks for the typed love. :hugs:

Hmmm… You sound taller on the internet :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
It’s always fun seeing how off you are when picturing someone. I was picturing taller, scrawny, with longish hair that you wear in a ponytail. Meh, pretty close :joy:
