I have a question. Why would you order stamps? Is the post office really far away?

I can’t drive and I try not to bother the wife with stuff only I need. Worst case I can get some next time I go to the grocery store. But yeah I’m like 4 miles from the nearest official post office and haven’t felt like walking or anything. I figured since, ya know, usps, I could order and they would ship from the nearest post office so I’d have them in a couple days… Did not expect that to take 3+ weeks.

Our wives appreciate us not burdening them needlessly, so that is very thoughtful of you. I haven’t felt like walking much lately either, but I gotta get some of these covid pounds off!

I bet both post offices are about that close to me. I sure wouldn’t feel like walking that far either!!

In other news, still have this much of the #4 to shuck

and have this many seeds so far

There is a lot of white seeds from this girl, definitely not going to get as many as from the #5, but might get more than the FLC. Not sure yet. I think I’ll test germ some of the white one’s before I toss them just to see if they’re really immature or if maybe this is just how she puts out seeds. Not thinking so, but we’ll see.

And then some veg tent stuff

Goji #4-#7 are damn close to being topped for clones. Going to top sometime this weekend, and then repot into 1gals to veg for another couple weeks before going into the flower tent. I’m not sure what’s going on here, but these 4 Goji’s are 40 days old right now :eyes:

I’m thinking Goji #2 is a hermie but I’m still not 100% positive yet. 99% of it still has zero presex flowers 13 days into flower. But two branches are pushing out pistils and one of the main’s has what for sure looks like balls coming out of it. But maybe it’s just a weird looking new-node growth so I’m going to leave it for another couple days and see. but if it’s hermied it’s getting chopped and the clone tossed, purple or not I’m not breeding hermies. We’ll see though. Will try and get multiple pics of it tonight.

And then some closeup’s of the FLC clone

I circled the new leaf coming out, hopefully reveg soon

I sure hope so. I had some clones go into flower early on me this summer, and I had no luck with re veg. They also got hit with mites at the same time, so that surely didn’t help.

Those goji seem to be slow growers for sure. I hope the buds are worth it!

I’m quarantining. Been quarantining since mid-March. I only leave the house to take my boxers on walks.

That’s what I thought, too. But when I tracked the stamps, it turned out they shipped them from fucking Missouri. To LA. Wtf?

They’re probably just busy growing roots. I’ve had that happen, where the growth above dirt seemed to be moving slow. But once I transplanted them into bigger pots, they took off.

seems like they could hook up a printer in the local PO …this seems so backward I cannot fathom how it came to be implemented. Since when has this been the case? All online orders shipped from one location or?

You mean dog boxers right? I can picture you out, walking, wearing just boxers! :joy:

My brain is messed up, I know.

The po thing makes no sense. My office always had tons on hand. It must be a totally separate system, and come from the originating office. It should just set a re order in the system, and should shop locally. The feds are all messed up.

If you’re brain’s messed up, then mine is, too, because that’s exactly what I visualized when I typed that sentence haha. But yeah, dog boxers. It’s a little too cool to be walking around my neighborhood in just boxers. Maybe this summer…

Nice to know it’s not just me then!

We used to have a superintenrant, when I was I high school, that would walk his kids pigs around the neighborhood, in hot pink shorts and flip flops. It was snowy and the dead of winter.

Called it!

Should be around ~1300 or so, we’ll see once I vial them all up
definitely a Labor Of Love, that’s for sure.

Here’s the mostly trimmed up cola of the #4

And here’s that #2 Goji

Clearly a girl right… But wtf is this?

Just another node growing out of the side of a node? Or is that some balls?

It does look like balls to me. But usually my plants will grow, like, one calyx on certain nodes that sometimes looks like balls. They always have a pistil growing out of the end of it, though. I found some balls on one of my Starkillers a couple days ago, almost six weeks into flower. Never happened to me before.

It doesn’t look like yours has a pistil growing out of it. Is that the only cluster you’ve found? Just tweeze then off and monitor the plant super-closely.

Yeah to me it 100% looks like balls. It IS the only node like this I’ve seen on the plant but she’s had no real stress to cause it. I mean same “stress” as the others have gotten, a topping… and maybe she’s a bit root bound but nothing serious, so I don’t think its stress induced unless it’s just super sensitive

Going to check it closely over the next couple days but if it is, I’m just gonna chop it. I still have the clone I can try and see if it’ll grow without producing balls but really… should probably just toss that too. This girl is floppy AF even with 2ml’s of silica every watering and I have 6 other goji’s to find a keeper in. Worst case I have some Goji OG F2’s I can look through.

Alright, got some stamps so I’ll start sending out to US people on Monday. I have international stamps on the way still… Anyone know if like 3 regular forever stamps can be used in place of an international stamp? They’re not very clear on the website

I dunno about international, but if you just measure and weigh the envelopes, the USPS website will say how much it costs to send. I just sent some seeds to stanknugz the other day, the envelope was more than a quarter inch thick, which apparently costs more to send. Had to slap ten stamps on the envelope haha.
