Any time brother! @JustANobody should get credit for that one though. He told me how to do it and it works great.
Man @emeraldbullfrog you really got it hoppin over here growmie. That tuba fort is loaded, down like a box truck coming over the boarder. Honestly i impressed with how well you have down keeping up with the girls. You definitely going to be knee deep in flowers galore once you get them into flower.
Had so much goin on i had to read through twice to be sure i caught it all haha, hats off to you growmie and to an awesome thread chock full of very useful info with links to boot. Im eager to see what you cook up next and will be jumping back in to follow along as you keep us updated.
Mush love
Hey, thanks for that @Adventuretime86! Makes me feel happy that I can help anyone by showing some stuff that went off-plan along the way
I show my bs too for the same reason. Helps me remember and others may learn or think Iām a dumbass. Either way I see it as a good idea.
No problemo growchacho. Growing is learning, and constantly evolving process. You sharing the good and sharing the oups and uh ohhs not only helps you to better hone your craft, it will undoubtedly help someone else along their grow journey as well .
I meant what i said, you are kicking ass man.
A force to be reckoned with.
I have a couple extra clones of the isle of St Lucia girls Iāve set aside for you. Phat Lady and Twin Peaks
Been chillin in the cloner peat plugs eager to rip roar their roots into some soil. They get Biiig though so you lemme know when you ready, they have your name on them so no stress.
No pressure, curious if you are on the hunt for another tent for flower whats holding you back how can we help? I have an extra 4x4 tent but not sure if shipping would be worth the costā¦ have other ideas to help raise some coins for a new tent though. If intrested shoot me a dm.
Hope alls going well for you and in the grow man.
Stay lifted
Really very nice, ambitious āback to growingā grow tutorial. This is a very accessible and VERY useful contribution to OG, as this will assist many growers starting out on the greatest hobby yet to be devised by humans.
Great job.
The only gentle suggestion I can come up with is to raise the temps in your tent if you can.
When I switched to LEDs from HIDs 4 or 5 years ago, I was a little frustrated because the plants did not look all that good to me. I raised the temps to no lower than 70 F overnight. Lights on temps minimum 80 F: and I have come to prefer between 85 and 90 as the best zone for my plants in my 2x4 tent.
The LEDs do not produce as much radiant heat as HIDs or the sun, so I compensate by raising ambient temps.
Thatās generous of you to say, and Iāll take it Iāve certainly had to investigate my share of issues. Had enough times end in finding something really close but not quite what Iām experiencing or, worse, almost exactly what Iām seeing but then thereās no follow up or suggestion on how to resolve. I figured itās better to just go warts ān all here. Aināt afraid to embarrass myself!
I would absolutely love those St Lucia clones from you. Second try is gonna pull through!
The tent is about to have more space in it - I have a short list of plants Iām going to cull in the next few days. Rooted a few too many duplicate clones (practice, practice, practice). Pretty sure I could toss a few and still not have to worry about losing the strains
Actually, I have obtained a second tent and just need to set it up
Super generous of you to offer assistance!
There were a few setbacks that kept me from setting up the flowering space when I intended. Honestly the delay worked out for the better - my apartment wound up going through several rounds of maintenance inspections over the last few months (preparations for ālenderās inspectionsā in random units, for the investors in the property). It would have been nearly impossible to conceal two tents plus any smell!
Thatās all officially over now I have time set aside over the next few days to prepare the space.
Flowering tent is a 4x8ft, with height of at least 6-7ft.
The plan is to start by using half the floor space for plants, and then reassess increasing the usage along the way. (Depends on how much work Iām willing to create for myself )
Hola @Calyxander, this is some high praise!
Temp suggestion is much appreciated. The issues from having low temps really caught me by surprise. Heater has been reliably helping - thanks to the warmth, some plantsā fan leaves are āprayingā again for the first time in weeks.
I have kept temps above 70* F minimum and itās making a big difference I had been aiming at 76-84* F during lights on. Will attempt your advice of 85 - 90* F and see how it goes. Thanks!
Friendly reminder to bump up that humidity along with the heat the ladies will love you for it
