I have seen this multiple times over the years. It is purely genetic. I have a cut that does this about every 3-4 nodes. Nothing to worry about. I do recommend plucking the leaves with buds forming as they will suck energy from the rest of your canopy. Those buds will never produce so get rid of them as they form.
