How do you cope with pain.. without painkillers

Bro that plant yielded enough to keep us going for a good while. Iirc the purple kush I sent you are from the same batch of seeds so you’ll likely get the same results if she’s treat right :+1:

Exercise and getting strong where/when you can, limitations notwithstanding.

I mean, there are record breaking athletes who are amputees. It’s AMAZING what people are capable of, and the largest common denominator I seem to notice is physical fitness.

God bless, i wish you relief and rest, whatever it takes.

Definitely. Being in good shape is half the battle…

:joy::joy::joy: Should have sent me a sample of it… lol

Could be. Is it an anti inflammatory just made legal in the states?

An inversion table got me walking again after i fell off the roof. Decompressed my spine and stretched me back out. It works wonders for sciatica. Just a slight inversion helps. May want to look into it. Instant relief, but start at a low angle. A steep angle with a fresh disc injury might not be too smart. I’d use mine but Mrs Upstate says its not allowed in our small house lol.
After my original injury Trout fishing got me going again. I couldn’t walk well for 6 months. Basically 50 feet and i had enough. I pushed on and eventually could walk from a car to the stream to fish from the water for a short while. The current began to strengthen my back. I fished every day for at least 45 days.( Still have my journal) each day walking a little further, searching around the next bend hoping to find another honey hole. By the middle of summer i could wade all day and felt good enough to go back to work. I’ve regretted it ever since:rofl::joy:( not really) Bike riding helps the lower back too. Exercise bike is fine. I’ve been having flashbacks of some rough times reading about your pain source. Lower back. L5 area most likely. Its no fun.

Bike riding is out of the question right now unfortunately because it’s one of my favourite things to do .today I can’t lift my right leg up without it aching…:tired_face::face_vomiting::thinking::confounded::weary::persevere::dizzy_face: I’m off to bed… it’s late and I need to get up early…

Thanks for the kind words, from you and everyone else! Take care

I think this one went from prescription to over the counter, so you probably did not mean it? It is also available as pills.

Diclofenac, sold under the brand name Voltaren among others, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and inflammatory diseases such as gout.

February 14, 2020
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved three drugs for nonprescription, or over-the-counter (OTC), use through a process called a prescription (Rx)-to-OTC switch. The FDA approved Voltaren Arthritis Pain (diclofenac sodium topical gel, 1%) for the temporary relief of arthritis pain;

It’s still better today. I was a bit afraid it would be worse. :relieved:
The “downside” is I wanted to try the raw tincture today and now I don’t feel enough pain to test it.

This could be it.

I got a pack of those in the veteran giveaway. I need to keep an eye on you for when you try to germinate yours. I’d sure like to get this one up and going. Maybe somehow we’ll get lucky and can make some fresh beans.

I’m in the same boat with the rest of you chronic pain people. I agree about how the pot works with pain. I’ve always thought that the pot isn’t killing the pain as much as it diverts your thoughts and prevents you from focusing on it, non stop. I’ve heard about certain people getting nerve and pain relief, but I wonder if it’s just better at putting your brain in a better place.

Hey @Esrgood4u, any chance you have any of those PK for trade? I may have some from another source, but he was Opengrow and they closed. I’m hoping @santero may have an email for him. I have his physical address I believe.

He sent me a few buds of what he was calling purple kush, or purple Hindu kush… it was completely purple bud but had a good many nanners on it. He said it’s just prone to that. But, it did have a really different high. I rarely notice potency anymore. My tolerance is just too high. But, that one really hit me different. It even had me giggling a little bit, lol. He told me it helps his pain. I’ll try and find the pics of the buds. If you do, I don’t mind taking care of the shipping.

I’ve had back pain since '81. I was in a violent helicopter crash and fractured a couple of vertebrae and tore all of the ligaments and muscles that connect your sacrum to you pelvis. Too small to repair, and they don’t heal back. Anyway, hit me up if you can help. I’m going to start a search for him. At worst, I have his home addy. I found one seed in his bud and I lost it. He said he had more I think, but I never took him up on it at the time. peace

Ok, I’m fine with that. I’ll try and secure some from my buddy. Who sells that strain? I don’t mind grabbing some if it’s that good at pain/nerve help. I’m on a small fixed income atm, so I haven’t been able to buy much. I get paid tomorrow though. peace

I feel physical relieve. Lots of cracking going on right now. I don’t think I had it like that from cannabis before. But the pain that improved a lot in the last day or two is rather new, so I would not know if other strains I had earlier would have helped too.
