How I "lift" the RH% of overdried flower

Personally im really happy with boveda packs and grove bags.
I use to play with tricks like this untill these new items came out to make the entire experience easier.
Maybe my cannoisseurness is not on point.

Nothing wrong with a boveda. I think the difference here is that they’re reusable maybe?

I use Boveda 62rh packs but i find if i dry it slightly too much before jarring up to cure, lets say at 55rh then it does loose a lot of that soft, lets say sticky goodness when you crack open a bud after curing, even if its sat 62rh.

But when jarring buds up around 70rh and bringing it down slowly to 62rh by cracking jars daily for 10 to 20 minutes, i find the buds once cured still have that lush sticky goodness inside once cracked, an example would be rubbing my finger & thumb together, i can feel that stickiness from trichs on them but not so much with bud that was overdried & then cured.

I find you can really tell the difference with buds that the rh has been lowered slowly over a few weeks during the curing process, smell and stickiness is like a bomb when you crack open a bud unlike doing it the other way around and raising rh during the cure where i find smell doesnt seem as sticky or smelly with terps.

Also when grinding a bud up in a grinder with bud that you have had to raise rh during cure, well the buds just turn in to proper dust it doesn`t so much with bud that i have cured by lowering rh slowly.

As for potency well buds done both ways still gets me stoned but one type is much tastier and smellier to me. They are like night and day and virtually 2 different buds in all honesty imo.

This and the lack of terp modding.

I run a perpetual, so I always have some fan leaves to chuck in if needs be. Makes the weed smell just like pot

I always like the idea from @PhilCuisine a while back… just clip a big fan leaf from another growing plant and stick it in the jar. It works great.

I use these fan leaves…I still have 1 small plant in the ground…I try not to overthink simple things and save my money for gas/groceries, that’s what I do nowadays.

I also use leaves from my Calamondin citrus trees…

You can reuse Boveda’s too. Throw them in a freezer Ziplock with a moist paper towel to rehydrate. I don’t use Boveda’s anymore though.

I only use them when I’ve screwed up.
