Orange Goji #2 - Eight weeks from flip

Almost there…

I think I’m gonna take one of the branches above today

These are my candidates

My fingers smell good, y’all

Actually, make that orange peels, pine needles, and stank.

Smelled up the whole living room just passing quickly through with a cola in my hand.

Got super baked and thought I saw a leaf showing symptoms of botrytis, so I snipped this Orange Goji #1 bud to give it a thorough inspection.

False alarm. No mold at all, just a pH damaged leaf, apparently. This thing is heavy and dense, and the buds left behind from underneath it are solid.

Can’t wait until this plant finishes, too. Smells amazing. Can’t wait until I get my sniffer back. It’s not a great sniffer, but I plan on putting it to use

Lol…
gasp :open_mouth: botrytis!!! :scissors::relieved: false alarm all baked, but still secretly glad you did it so you can try more…be honest…lol. looks killer!! Once I make some room, my orange goji’s seeds are gonna dance for me.

Well, I’m not about to let it go to waste

I think I’ll let the rest of them mature, though

Orange Goji #2

Meant to post this yesterday…

Ended up taking a couple of early branches from the middle, which really opens it up and lets you see the structure a bit better.

I think I got resin on my camera lens, lol. It won’t focus worth a damn

Looking excellent. I believe the resin part. I wear my watch and it always gets coated when ever I am playing with the plant. I am gonna have to take a sample branch myself off mine. How long you planning on leaving those OG, another couple weeks?

For the one in the last pic, I’ll probably let it go another week. The other two look like they have at least two weeks left, to me.

The wife and I smoked up most of that test branch last night, and while we both really liked it, I think another week would improve it. It’s just a tad bit early, and a little bit speedy. Taste was excellent though, even for quick dried and uncured. Pretty stinky, too

Focus or no focus…looks friggin’ good! The extra 2 weeks will let it stack more bud too!!!

Orange Goji #2 Clone

When you take a cutting during mid flower, it gets pretty whacked out as it tries to simultaneously root and reveg, lol

This one’s taking forever to revert to normal growth. It’s pretty funny though

My orange gojis seemed to getv98% done. Then drag ass on the last little bit. Maybe it just felt that way idk

Once that gets going it’s going to turn into a nice big bush.

Yeah it is

That’s one of the reasons I’m not shy about taking cuttings whenever I want. That will either be a massive plant, or provide a ton of clones, maybe both.

This is causing me to rethink my plans. It’s not going to be ready to flower any time soon, and I have nowhere to keep plants that are off-schedule.

On the other hand, I’m down to three Durban x Jungle Spice plants that are female, which are already so big it’s going to cause me problems if I try to flower them out in that space. I let myself succumb to the temptation to wait too long, to see if they all could be ready at the same time. It might make sense to take clones and turn those three (presumed) females into nine clones and flower those out instead.

And I still have that Orange Goji male I want to use, to get pollen from if nothing else.

Not sure what I’m going to do yet, but there are a few options I’m mulling.

I feel for you but it’s good problems to have vs some things. When that happened to me I supercropped the shit out of them. I have limited height so sometimes I have to take drastic measures.
I have 2 orange goji late Into flower clones that are just coming back. My problem is I forget leave any small lowers sometimes.

That’s good to know! Someone else told me recently that they always wait until week ten, for maximum effect. It’s pretty stony right now, so I’m looking forward to doing side by side comparisons when the time comes

Oh, yeah… They all got an advanced case of the leans now. Orange Goji #1 has some seriously massive colas, and I’m starting to get a little worried that some day soon I’m gonna open the tent and find a few branches in the water, lol.

I agree with Pappa, mine is dragging for sure. Just decided to go another week for sure. I can’t find an amber triche yet on her.
This is one shot from today.

And this is week 10 since flip.

Seriously contemplating an F2 run at the next available opportunity… Wondering if I can do that next, but if I do a massive pollination I’d probably have to hit up at least a branch or two of a couple other strains…

Stuff is tasty.

I agree with you on both counts.
