HSC Trainwreck

She’s a few inches shy of being eye level. Gonna do a soil test tomorrow, and see if there’s any deficiencies or excess in her. Really hoping she don’t get twice as tall nervous

Did a little trimming to get her ready for flower. Did a stem rub, and had the wife smell it. Peppery

Better get her sprayed down. I have used the spray bottle of Pyrethrin . It’s a premixed spray bottle. I just poured half of it in a gallon of water in a pump sprayer. Be sure to spray bottoms and tops of all leaves. Do it once a week for a couple weeks before she starts flowering. Good Luck !

Already noticing most of them gone, and it getting taller

They lay eggs so repeat spraying as needed before flowering to break their life cycle, good luck … beer3|nullxnull

I plan on it. How often? And thank you

I couldn’t say icon_e_confused|nullxnull, you were lucky for catching them soon, just trim and burn any spotted leave and spray twice or more a week to make sure you get rid of them, once in flower if they are still there you lost the battle …

I’m lucky I had someone with a good eye! Plan on more trimming this weekend. I checked on them earlier today, after their neem drench yesterday, and didn’t see as many as I did before. A sweeping after I trim this weekend, and will probably give them, and the silo a good drenching, and see how it goes from there. I don’t plan on losing this battle. These are the finest I have done so far, and one was requested by the wife, and will be my last outside, till I can do it without fear

It’s catching up to my Kush, and considering what I smelled in all, when I looked at them earlier, afternoon feedings are gonna smell nice when its flowering

what’s the deal with that?

the rest of the plant is healthy vibrant green but still has yellowed lowers. what does that have to do with the pots? not an argument, just genuinely curious. i always try to prevent that stuff from happening… having it all dialed in so to speak. and i know the yellowing isn’t part of “the fade”.

Temperature and moisture fluctuations .imo

hmm… that would certainly be a factor here… (heat/blazing sun/low ambient humidity)

does that happen to the plants you have directly in the soil as well, or no just a bucket/pot thing?

Very seldom, here we have had weeks of 90-100 f here and I’ve only watered a few times this season. I do have 2 59 gallon pots and it happens in those and they need many times more water than the rest…

! The pots give me some indication of the amount of dryback happening. It’s 4 -5 watering in the pot to one in ground.

In the hottest parts of summer the drybacks are the most prevalent. When the soil dries back it increases nutrient concentrations in the pot between watering. Some bottom yellowing occurs and folks start thinking they need some more Nitrogen, when they really need more consistent temps and moisture. Imo.

I’ve definitely been noticing this more in smaller bags. Intriguing hypothesis :+1:

Looks like everything is progressing nicely.

It has been till recently, spider mites, and rust colored spots on leaves. I defoliated the ones I saw earlier, and hoping it doesn’t come back, but at the same time, I trimmed her up for flower one last time
