I always loved this quote, do any of you remember it or what it was from?

As the title says I am curious if anyone else remembers this quote or where it came from as I do. I always thought it was such a cool message. Feel free to post your answer or post another quote that you particularly liked. Here is the quote I am referring to.

"Beware of judgements of others.

In this imperfect world in which we live perfection is an illusion and so the standards by which we seek to measure it are also in themselves illusions.

If perfection is measured by age, grace, color of skin, color of hair, physical or mental prowess than we are all lacking.

It is well to remember that the harshest judgments are reserved for ourselves."

Wow, and the first person that guessed. Awesome. I didn’t think anyone would get that for a while, very few know Master Chen Ming Kan anymore. Outstanding.

LOL, just realized it was an easy answer when put in Google. Man, now I have to find one that isn’t.

It’s all chance! I LOVE Kung Fu, though I was an 80’s baby my big brother had it all on VHS. At first the quote didn’t click but as I was cooking breakfast it hit me and yeah, Google’d to confirm

Nice, I actually started watching the original series again last night at bed time. That’s what brought it to mind. I have all episodes of the old and new series on my storage drive. Also the specials. LOL, I even have the original T-Shirt and collector cards. Good times. Good on you for recognizing it, that’s amazing.

Just the first and last sentences say plenty by themselves…
How about this one…" Like the falling leaves that fall and feed the trees, the soil of intelligence is getting richer"
Or " Behind everyone’s back is hidden many secrets and some of them are yours"
John C Lilley once wrote something like…“What the mind believes to be true either is true or becomes true in one’s mind and these beliefs are to be transcended upon…”

Or " Age is physio-psychological NOT chronological"

To name but a few favourites and to selfishly monopolise the airwaves…

Great topic buy the weigh

Originally from the bible, and shortened.

Original is, Judge not lest you judge yourself.

Other adaptions, let those without sin cast the first stone.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones ( not from the bible )

There is already a thread called whats your favourite quote.

Thanks, I did not see that one.

Winston was a witty cheeky so and so at times…
He once said (allegedly!)…when a ‘lady’ said to him, ‘’ my god Winston, you are smashed( soo drunk)" in reply…" I might be drunk madam, in the morning I will be sober, you on the other hand, will still be ugly."
Ouch!

“Don’t look back, you’re not headed that way”… it’s listed as a newer quote, but the Vikings used it
