This is the plant I had hoped to find for years, bought this cut a few weeks back. It arrived with edges starting to yellow and not a deep green this strain is known for. It’s supposed to be a Chem91 skva cut.
It’s been kept in house quarantined from my grow in garage. It has seen less than optimal temps but I bought a seedling heat pad for it.
I put it in fox farms ocean forest I had left over from the wife’s mums. I don’t use that medium. I fed twice with megacrop… maybe 300ppm.
It was the only soil I had, out of my usual roots organic… and currently shut down in growroom. I have nothing else to transplant into.
My bluelab seems to have hit the typical 2 year and start dieing point. But I know my 8 drops down per gallon gives me 6.5.
I’m thinking the nutes and medium may have been a lil hot, it was done before I realized it honestly. But does it look like your typical nute burn?
Should I flush with ph’d water only? I’ll be shutdown for about 5 or 6 weeks while I clean/bleach my room from a spider mite issue. All new growing style… autopots and growpito upon restart.
Hot soil causing the burn. Flushing soil can be a PITA.
I’d be using plain old water when feeding. She’ll bounce back once the ppm of the soil gets into a better range.
If you can uppot into a soill/coco mix it’ll create more drainage and the ppm will come down a lot quicker.
Maybe also think about moving her into just coco/perlite without the soil if your adjusting the pH of the water anyway. You’ll end up with it recovering quicker and a much bigger stronger plant as more air is available to the roots.
I’ve gone to peat/perlite 50/50. Drains great. Easy to flush at any point. I know exactly what’s going in. They get what I decide now and I don’t wonder if my soil is hot, cold, or anything else. No guessing.
But listen to the others. ESPECIALLY concerning ph.
I spent the summer of 78 on South Padre Island… Texas Gulf. I bought the debut album then as a 16yo.
Following summer I joined the Military, it wasn’t till Monster’s of Rock in 88 that I got to see Van Halen in Philly. Have seen them a dozen or more times since.
My son’s first concert was the Balance tour, he was 8. What a chick magnet he was… standing on the chair and knew all the words. Wife looked at me and giggled…
He and I have been desperately trying to score tickets in Cabo for Sammy’s birthday bash for a few years… without luck. It’s a bucket list item for me…
Water in a small handful of gypsum (even soak the gypsum in some water for an hour) and then stop feeding til it grows some more. fFOF is already pretty hot, and Happy Frog is geared more for clones and small plants, then transplant into OF.
