Things I’ve learnt in the last year… With my lil one.
Sleep deprivation is a myth. You will sleep again. Put your brain in gear with a coffee etc and soldier on… Your lady is probably ten times more sleep deprived than you.
At the start of every month look around and trust me there are new hazards… Something that was fine last month it’s now your worst enemy… I’m looking at my coffee table and thinking you have go somewhere else or baby is gonna get a very sore head.
When they sit up it’s time to put shoes on their feet… A baby that hasn’t had shoes on lots before then will spend lots of time taking them off… And you will spend more putting them back on than you have time for.
Breast fed baby’s poop doesn’t really smell… Formula on the other hand is like stink bombs with added sulphur!
And enjoy it. It’s gonna go by in blinks, take photos and videos. I’m in love with a video of my bubba’s first hiccups…

Thanks so much everyone! First night is going ok, it’s 240 am here and he’s just finding his rhythm; big deal your first night on earth
