Use one of those decorative half marbles. The kind that get used to fill vases in floral arrangements.
I used to use one for the same purpose. Cheap and plentiful.

found these made from silicone
On the rare occasion I don’t rip the bong in one toke(I like to chop it up so it burns evenly to ash then pull it through) I use the lighter then the finger. Not a fan of over complicating things that’s why I’m not a big fan of dapping too much equipment and gadgets, some people even use a timer haha that’s just too much for me. I’m already high by then haha

Clean a half dollar with a diluted bleach solution then it’ll be sterilized to use…I had the same 1/2 $ for years. It’s still at home in NY lol I know right where that damn thing is too.
