If what we sent you was mangled

We sent out several cards a week ago that were clearly marked ‘Hand Sort Only’ and had special hand-sort only stamps on them. APPARENTLY some of the Postal staff are inept asshats who can not read… I spoke to our Postmaster, who told m that he has been gone for 2 weeks, and there was a sub- who DESPITE me telling her they were hand sort only, and the stamp AND big red letters did NOT put them in the non-machinable bin for outgoing mail.
If yours was damaged, please PM me a photo of it…I’m raising hell with USPS.

Oh-- and YES–in the U.S seeds are legal to ship, as they do not contain THC…

So now we can add that one to the long list that the USPS does not have the ability to do! :joy::joy::joy:

Now they want to raise postage again, that is one thing they do know how to do!:laughing::laughing:

They never fail to disappoint  obviously they got that one DOWN :flushed:  :open_mouth:‍:dash: :triumph:

Not to be a downer and I hate when they burn seeds but it’s pretty amazing that anything gets delivered anywhere for 91 cents.

It was actually $3.00…but yeah…know what yer saying…

I never put extra instructions on the outside (like “fragile” or “handle with care”). I figure some disgruntled postal worker is going to see that and take his unhappiness out on my package. Not that it’s ever actually happened…

I don’t know… I remember being able to send a letter for 10 cents. This was before ‘going postal’ was a coined phrase.

also before they started trying to kill the post office but that’s another story, much forbidden on these boards, and with good reason. just had to pipe up with the actual reason for the rate increases that are so prevalent. it’s all political.

In truth, everything is political. :slightly_frowning_face:

politics is the interaction of people in society, so yes, everything is political. the usps fiasco has been politically manufactured to destroy the usps so it can be privatized.

Either that, or we’re living in a society going through intense demographic changes that cause systems to strain and break, and there are political parties that realize telling people things break because it’s all an evil conspiracy by their political rivals is an effective way to get votes. I’m not saying it’s a lie… but Occam is. And you’re clearly pushing for the thread to be locked, btw.

no, actually i’m not and i’m avoiding it by not posting links or coming out and saying things outright. sure, the system is strained and everything costs more than it used to, but sometimes folks make decisions to ensure they make more money and not for the good of the people. notice again i am not saying who, and i firmly believe that all politicians at the national level are corrupt and in it for themselves no matter what they say. it may be obvious which side i’m on, but the only reason i choose a side is to do something. doing nothing has clearly not been the answer.

so, back on topic, i saw a thread on the usps and how it was messing things up, then saw a post that appeared to me to be blaming them for raising prices again for a reason that i thought was wrong, so i tried as best i could to avoid politics and correct the answer. it is simply trying to stop the spread of misinformation whenever i see it. it should be something that every american does out of a sense of duty to the country, but that may also be delving too close to politics for you so i’ll leave it at that. have a great weekend. tschüss.

You’re trying to stop the spread of misinformation with conspiracy theories about the post office crisis being politically manufactured, undoubtedly by politicians you don’t like? :man_facepalming:

Not on here. We’re all being lied to, you and me included, so we simply aren’t equipped to stop the spread of misinformation because we don’t have real information. Since we don’t have real information, it ends up just being a big argument about ideals. That’s why it’s against the rules. You really don’t understand how this works after so long being here?

oh, i do. if you don’t mind, i’ll send a pm with the details on the politics of the usps that i don’t want to post here. only if it’s ok and i won’t go into opinions, just facts that can be proven. real information as you asked for.

Shrug, you’re welcome to… but there is no real information that proves this is a “politically manufactured fiasco” because that implies intent. AKA, opinion. That’s why people aren’t being prosecuted for making the mistakes that led here, because it can’t be proven.

The post office has been failing for some time as a business. They don’t make any profit and for the volume of mail that they have I don’t think they are properly equipped to handle it.

Thankfully the government can keep funding what is a unprofitable business that can’t support itself monetarily.

sounds like someone else is believing the lies being spread about the usps. it isn’t a business and isn’t supposed to make money, it’s supposed to move mail and is spelled out in the constitution since it is that important it isn’t to be privatized.

Not true–political propaganda…
Please keep Politics off the thread guys-- you’ve hijacked it…
thanks.

It’s not a business and never was. It’s a service subsidized by the govt.
