Hey @stanknugzz77 could you tell me anything about your cldc f2 male selection did you look for more of a chem or a I-95 leaner not super familiar with cldc in general
Iām out of likes. TK is killer in crosses, on its own obviously too, but I also grew out a pack of CdlC from JJ and that had some fire in there. Could definitely see a nice male being in there for sure. Iām curious how much theyāll stretch and flop too. Haha. You should find really strong smoke in them no matter what.
I selected the Chem Del La Chem F2 male that was the least lanky and produced the most trichomes.
Oddly enough, I have worked with every cultivar in I-95 (Triangle Kush, Legend OG and Stardawg), but never worked with pure I-95, so I couldnāt really tell you if it leans towards I-95.
I will say that I can easily see the TK and Chem in my Chem Del La Chem F2 male.
Again, definitely be prepared for lanky phenotypes, as the Chem Del La Chem F2 had quite a few and I do not expect the TK to tame that too much (or at all haha). Positive vibesā¦

@billdozier72ās entire run of Chem D x (Black Triangle F2) was phenomenal.
It is humorous to me that you say that his pictures convinced you though. I feel like when we had discussed it previously, your thoughts were somewhere along the lines of āyou work a lot with Chem and Kush and those just arenāt really my bagā or something like that haha. Then it is literally a Chem/Kush hybrid that convinces you to come to the Ill Eagle side haha.
I will say it again and again: There is literally magic made when Chem and Kush fuck and have babies haha.
I have āknownā (I only put it that way because it is online) you for years and I can honestly say that I love you too brother.
I am pretty sure that you are the reason that I am on Overgrow. I recall you inviting me when we were both on the farm and I remember thinking, āI am already on too many forumsā. Not long after that, Logic banned me from the farm for not giving him a pack of Kali Mist seeds that NDNGuy had gifted me back around ~2010 or so. That made the decision pretty easy haha.

Oh, yeah, youāre definitely remembering correctly haha. That was the reason. It still is, really. I looked at the most recent lists (I think they were the most recent, anyway) and wasnāt too sure what I oughta try, just because of the prevalence of the Black Triangle and Chem and stuff. But Iāll figure out something. I reeealllyyyy did not like the Black Triangle f1ās I grew a couple years ago, but maybe you made a great selection for the male youāre using or something haha.

Pretty sure he banned me right around the same time he banned you, just for complaining (rightfully) about the fact that he was literally changing the words in reports that I was writing. These are very vigorous growers with very stout branchy structure. I donāt think these will need a lot of staking. They are also super uniform. I canāt recall a run of plants that grew more similar to each other. Iām chalking that up to Nugzzās wizardry in breeding. And itās becoming quite clear that these are going to be some tall ladies. Theyāve begun showing sex, so Iām in the process if repotting and moving them into the flower room. So, plese excuse any mess you may see. Lol.

Hm. Okay, thanks haha. Iām trying to decide what to run here, thinking the Cherry West/Chem cross. Iād run the Mikado hybrid if there wasnāt any fucking Cookies in it haha. And the Blowfish if there wasnāt that Hazmat OG in it.
Iām sure theyāre all good, I trust stankās judgement, but I have to consider my own personal preferences, too haha.
I hear you on the cookies, minitiger. I go out of my way to avoid it and itās crosses.
Why do people avoid Cookies so much? Seems like a pretty commonly held opinion.
I usually feel the same way about cookies/dessert/fruity/candy cultivars, but if it is something that I have grown, held for years and work with, it is because it is unique AND it has potent effects.
But I definitely tend to gravitate towards the foul/funky cultivars. Positive vibesā¦

I have held my Stagger Lee male and female cuts for ~3 years or so. I havenāt done a ton of work with the male, but I really should do more.

Honestly, for me, itās not the flavor so much as the effect seems kind of flat.
But it just might just be me.
If I were to grow another cookies cross, Nugzzās crosses would be the ones Iād try.
