Speaking of cotyledons, This one is unique. I don’t recall having a seedling with a twin set before. I feel like it’s flashing me the peace sign. Something to add to the notes.

We are entering the bud ripening stage now. This is where, if you’ve done most things correctly you should see your pistils dying off and senescence starting to happen.
It’s getting pretty smelly in here so it won’t be long now.
You hung the red blanket inside the tent for this round of pics? Have you been doing that this whole time? I thought you were taking the plants out and placing them in front of the blanket and outside of the tent haha.
Looking good brother! How many Skunktek Sour Diesel x (Black Triangle F2) Sour Black do you have going? I hope that you find something that you enjoy in my work! I appreciate you! Positive vibes…
You grow in coco, huh? For some reason I thought you grew in soil.
I like how you start with the seedlings in relatively large pots. Are those one-gallons? Is that what you keep them in for the duration? Did you start the seeds in “plugs” or whatever you call them and then move them into the pots? Or did you plant the seeds directly into those pots?
Sorry to ask so many questions haha, it’s just that I always plant the seeds in little three-inch “starter pot” things, then transplant to half-gallons after a month, veg in those until I know the sex and then get the females into seven-gallons (and trash the males! Fuck the males! haha). But I’ve been considering maybe just skipping the starter pots and planting the seeds in the half-gallons. Or maybe solo cups, I dunno.
I grow in soil, though, don’t know if that makes a difference. Anyway, yeah, sorry to pepper you with so many questions haha.
Shoulda mentioned that some of the day 36 pics will be of plants that were topped before I took pics and some of them will be after I topped. That #3 plant was topped before I took the pic, obviously.
Getting them into those half-gallons really helped. They didn’t look like they were ready to be transplanted on day 28, some of them were straggling big-time (they weren’t the only ones; a lot of the plants from this round were looking pretty “runt-y” until I got them out of the starter pots), but I needed to transplant the good-looking stuff and figured I’d just do it all at once.
Anyway, yeah, the difference after a week is pretty friggin’ noticeable. They look great! Everything does, actually, except for one mutant Soar plant that’s obviously just gonna be a shitty plant. But yeah, no complaints about these at all.
“You grow in coco, huh? For some reason I thought you grew in soil.”
It’s a starter mix
“I like how you start with the seedlings in relatively large pots. Are those one-gallons?”
Yes, 1 gallon plastic pots.
“Is that what you keep them in for the duration? Did you start the seeds in “plugs” or whatever you call them and then move them into the pots? Or did you plant the seeds directly into those pots?”
I don’t use plugs for seeds, I just let them float in a glass of tap water for about 12 hours. I don’t even wait for them to crack. If they’re older seeds, I’ll add a few drops of H2O2 and sea weed extract. After that I put them directly in the 1 gallon pots. I use this starting mix. It’s the only miracle grow product that I would ever recommend. But it works very well. I produce my own castings and I think it’s a little too potent for seedlings.
I keep them in the 1 gallon pots until they sex, usually 4-6 weeks. I top dress them with W/C at about the 3 week mark.
After they sex, I repot them into the 15 gallon fabric totes that are filled with Organic living soil that I mix myself. Sometimes I kill the males and sometimes I’ll separate them and collect a bit of pollen.
“Sorry to ask so many questions haha,”
No problem, brother!

I used to start in small pots but over the years I sort of streamlined things.
I like the one gallon pots because they’re a little less maintenance and I only have to repot them once.
Yeah, that’s why I’ve been considering just starting the seeds in the half-gallons. I feel like transplanting from the starter pots into the half-gallons has been delaying the “sex reveal” haha for a couple weeks the last few years. That wasn’t always the case, though, so maybe it’s just what I’ve been growing lately. I dunno.
Is it coco-based? It looks like coco in your pics, but maybe it’s just the perlite that’s throwing me off. Any time I see perlite, I always just think,”Oh, this is a coco grow,” haha.
Right. It all makes sense. The only reason I’ve been reluctant to start in the half-gallons is because I can only fit eight of them in each tray, two trays per grow (at least to start), as opposed to 18 of the little pots. Not that I’ve ever planted 36 seeds at once haha, but still…

We are approaching the finish line here, folks. In a week or so, it’s going to be chop time. Of course, a good cure changes things. But right now theses plants are producing an array of aromas from sweet, mossy/earthiness to pine cleaner. Marvelous.
#2 is one of the earthy sweeties. Such a big, sprawling girl.
So have had a crazy month between work my parents health and my sisters dog getting evicted and having to come stay with me has been too much on my plate let the garden get neglected and got rather embarrassed to show them I culled all males but due to lack of care the girls took a beating but have been getting them back to health the last few weeks got them all transferred to the 20 gallons running just the 3 triquetra (triangle kush x cldc f2) in the 4x4 this run no excuses but still haven’t flowered them out yet will be cleaning up the tent and flipping tomorrow
Starting to grow a bit normal again had a tough time transitioning her to the 20 Gallon had some stems snap etc while training but was a result of her poor conditioning due to neglect
Once again I apologize for my absence and my poor timing to test your work in my garden will get as frequent updates in flower as I can going to aim for weekly during flower and of course a smoke report
Still super stoked too see these 3 triquetra females in flower much love and happy growing y’all
I don’t think he’s too worried about it right now. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure his neck of the woods just got leveled by that hurricane. That’d explain his recent absence, anyway. I’ve got a few friends who live where he lives and I can’t get a hold of any of them, actually sent stank a DM yesterday just to check in and I haven’t heard back, so…
Oh shit didn’t even think about that @minitiger just realized he hasn’t posted in awhile hoping All is well with you @stanknugzz77 sending love and positive vibes your way
Yeah, I actually just got a text from one of my friends there, said they still don’t have power or water, using gas generators once a day to charge their shit. He and his wife just had a kid two weeks ago, can’t even imagine what dealing with an infant through that chaos must be like. But their house is still standing, said he was lucky because a lot of their neighbors’ houses aren’t.
So… You know. Let’s hope stank wasn’t totally wiped out.
