In Need of a simple solution for a Data Logging

Does anyone know of a simple solution for a Data Logging, Looking to monitor Temp and Humidity at a reasonable price. I have look into Raspberry Pi, and Arduino they are just too time consuming to learn.

What would you consider a reasonable cost?

Any other specs? E.g. How do you plan on using the data?

I’m using one of these. Not quite as user friendly as a SensorPush, but inexpensive for sure.

There are ways… but not user friendly ways. Logging requires some DIY.

Short info on how I did it:

  • add a power cord to it
  • open up the plastic and flash “EspEasy” firmware with serial <> usb adapter
  • navigate to web interface and add query commands
  • create small python script to collect the data remotely

For which device will this be used on

It can log some data by itself if you wish. Probably 1-2k data points. I run the python program from my computer and save the data there.

Inkbird has a data logger for about 35 bucks.
