KNF Style “living soil”
25 gallon fabric pots
Viparspectra 3000 + 4 mars hydro 1000 (each corner)
Basalt rock dust and WOW mycorhizae applied at each watering
KNF style liquid fertilizer (Sundays only)
Rain water (Wednesdays only)
4x4 vivosun tent
2-6in fan/filter
4 oscillating fans near canopy level
4 non oscillating fans above light system
85ish degrees 50ish% RH
20 hrs light, 4 hrs dark…for now

On a side note, I have a huge tote of basalt rock dust I never used yet. I’m not quite sure how much to use in my soil recipe, if you could help out with that. I see you add it to your water as a drench? Interesting. How much do you apply like that, and do you put any in your mix to begin with?
Find an average spoon and scoop a “healthy” amount and sprinkle in a circle around the plant…but not like a heaping amount.
I use the plastic scooper that came with a vivosun seed starter kit.
It is beneficial to add to your soil while mixing before seeding.
*edit…one of my grow buddies adds his to water and adds it that way, I just top dress before I water.
Cool, thanks. I opted for basalt rock dust for some upcoming mixes because azomite and zeolite contain harmful chemicals that you don’t want, like arsenic and heavy metals. I’m going to be mixing it up this week. Thanks for the tips.

Here’s an update…
Front left is a 3rd round seed that produces what I’m calling OG WILDFIRE because of how orange it looks. I started LST WAAYYY TOO EARLY, I dunno why. Hopefully I can can split tops 'till the second canopy catches up with the current one.
Front right is a seed from my last grow that I’m calling BUSH KUSH for obvious reasons(although the last one didnt do this). I’m letting it go/grow to see what it does. It’ll be a headache to manage later.
Back left and right were from my last grow, not sure which strain it is.
The center pot has a few other stragglers that are trying to make it (3 in front)
The two on either side of the turtles are freakshows
I’m running 2 freakshows, featured in the center.
The 4 bigger ones are from my last grow and the one before that and the one before it…my mom confiscated some seeds back in 2009-2010 and “gifted” them back to me for Christmas in 2020. So I planted a few and have perpetually replanted the seeds I find (under 20 between 4 plants) so I’m not sure what strains they were back in the day…but they kick ass today!
