@Ris … Check ur ph… If its between 6.2 and 6.7 then increase cal mag by a little… Remember less is more
@jamMAKEcan im at ph of 6.0… is that too low for the absorption of cal mag
@Ris … Cal/mag is absorbed higher than 6.0. So id raise it a little . around… 6.5 -6.2.
well that might explain it, Sorry for jacking this thread. Thanks
@Ris …no problem … Glad i could help were a family here. Growers:green_heart:
Careful taking advice from family competitors. Conflict of interest maybe? Just Kidding @Ris and @jamMAKEcan …or Am I? LMAO
Those look real healthy!
Thanks, I am satisfied with how things start out, but I found the big challenge is keeping the diminishing soil alive, while being overcome with hungry roots. Especially trying to finish, without using anything concentrated in the fertilizer dept. I usually end up motivating my lazy ass to make a bit of Casting tea. Using my laziness to my advantage when it comes to overgrowing that cup too soon. There is no way to contain roots in a cup when doin a fast-growing set-up…its just lift snip CLICK and replace IMO. Soil and roots in a cup don’t rebound from that shit LOL.
Yes unless you poke holes in the sides like some people on here do it, it will air prune the roots naturally
I don’t want to encourage them to grow faster, less holes, less water, slower growth. Growth inhibiting is what I’m trying to do. If last year is any indication of how these comps go (and they are IMO), getting to the finish is accomplished by a fraction of the starting participants. If the solo needs more attention than the rest of your grow…you’re done IMO. More than just weight to the judging, as well. Anyhow that’s all the Reigning Grand Champion has to share, for now…Crowd cheering lovingly LMAO
Well I hope you the best, sounds like you have a gameplan
Still on the original res of 5g/gal Maxigro. The new growth is looking really good now after adding 0.5g/gal each of epsom & gypsum. Flooding for 4 mins every 4 hours.
Beautiful cups people!
To bad I missed the boat this year. I enjoy a good little solo cup grow.
Alas, I am still to new to this forum to get my hands on some of the members beans.
Though I will be following along, and look forward to participating next year!
So many beautiful solo cup gardens!
Here are my little guys, I hope I’ve got all three bugs off them, sap sucking bastards! Lol. 1 more spray before the flip and they should be good to go!
Theyre a little sad from the sprays, but they’ll be happier in the long run for it
Wow that’s a wicked set-up. You can probably pull more weight off your cups than I can grow in 5 gallons of soil!!! When I see guys like yourself, it makes me want to put proper plumbing in my basement. All trash talk (LOL vanilla OG style) aside, you obviously know what’s-what. Glad your in pushing us! Cheers!
BAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!
No more shitting in a bucket for @Cannasaurusrex !
