Is this nutrient burn or what am I looking at?

0.6 ec = 300ppm only. That level of ec/ppm shouldn’t be causing the problems your having. If anything the plant would be eating itself because of hunger and wouldn’t be such the lush green colour that it is. The “tote” you are using is it a bubble bucket or some kind of DIY RDWC system??? Check the nutrient solution temperature. Anything above
72°F the DO (dissolved oxygen) dips to low and your inviting pathogens into your system that will eventually cause root rot and kill your plant. A quick easy fix is to fill a few soda bottles with water, freeze them and drop one into the rez every couple of hours :v:

I used to run into it all the time in coco until I got my NER right.

Not sure if anyone mention this or not
the damaged leaves will never correct themsleves back to normal only new growth will show your results of any changes you have made to your line up. Don’t over think things, keep it simple as you can.
Your plant looks pretty good to me if PH is on and you are not getting crazy high runoff I would let it ride and see.
What is the feed PPMs at now you may be on the high side .

Nute burn shows up on new leaves at the same time as old leaves. Also, it causes the tips to sort of curl upward at the very tips. This isn’t nute burn. Looks like a deficiency of a mobile element, which is why it’s happening at the lower leaves first.

Tough call here but maybe it is a deficiency…

It’s pretty orange and burn is yellow. My EC is pretty low using foliage pro… However it is weird to see a deficiency in veg when the plant is barely 20 days old.

The description of the plant does say she is a heavy feeder but I assumed that meant in flower.

Looking at it more closely it just doesn’t look like nute burn but I’m still not sure…

It’s a coin toss… I’m gonna gamble on deficiency for now…

I went ahead and added more pro tekt as it has K in it and mag pro as it was on the feed schedule. EC went from 1.0 to 1.3 so about 650ppm total with 150ppm coming from my tap water.

I’ll report back…

It’s a flood and drain dealy. Rez temps are about 72 and pretty consistent. I also use Zone every 3 days which is chlorine and chloramine to keep the rez sterile if it does get warm.

Thanks for checking on it!

Yeah it seems like you’ve got everything covered so it’s a hard one to advise anymore on. Hopefully increasing the ppm of the solution works. Good luck mate and keep us updated :+1:
