We are taking a summer trip too, boarding the ferry today for Newfoundland from Nova Scotia after travelling the Cabot Trail yesterday to North Sydney. Fantastic scenery!
I had my first taste of Poutine last night. Small burger, large poutine and a cold brew = Bliss!

That’s a beautiful part of Canada, I love it there. Have fun on your trip bud. Last years outdoor didn’t do great, cold came to early.
Well it’s official, I am on holidays for the next 2 full weeks. Time to get back to the lake and see what those 4 Strawba the Hut’s did after being left alone for a month.

Hey bud, mostly just sat around. It was raining much of the day and will continue through tomorrow. RH is 100%. Figures really, 40c weather for weeks and then we go on holidays to get rained on, lol. It’s cool though. Back was sore today. Yesterday I had to tear the water pump right down to get a rock out. Also had to shovel all sorts of gravel back up from the bottom of my boat launch. A down day or 2 isn’t the end of the world, we got 2 weeks here and nature needed a bit of rain.

Yes indeed, it’s always work when I come here. Chores and repairs always need doing. Been a bit of a lazy day, sky finally starting to clear so looks like a Campfire tonight. First, time to cook some dinner.
