AC infinity actually list soil amendment as a suggested use for spent carbon from their filters.

Charged means you load up the carbon with nutrients and it will slow release them to your plants. They also act as a home for microbes. I charged some a while ago and it’s good stuff. Google charging biochar and YouTube will show you the way.

Hmmm, that’s pretty cool. I got a 5 foot tall bage of.perlite that will last me years but still, some cool ideas in that article.

I assumed as much going by how we charge coco but it sounds like a bunch of trial and error to get that to work.

Nice gift @DougDawson . I’ve got the Cloudline T6 in my 4x4, but not a smart controller. Such a nice tool. I have a T4 in my 3x3. Overkill in the 3x3, but good back up for the 4x4. The light in my 3x3 is overkill too. Back up. Lights are HLGs, so I’m not real worried. I don’t have a big odor issue, but the rechargeable unit is sweet!

It’s soaking the charcoal in nutrient solution of your choice and then drying it. Bit of work to it but not bad. I did my own as I could not source biochar locally but if you can source it easily it might not be worth the effort. You can see my go at it on my thread, it stank and took a while 
but turned out good in the end.

Was a catch 22. If I had flipped they would have overgrown the space super fast. They are bigger than I would have hoped for but it is what it is, lol.

Hey OG, just dropping a couple pics. Going to be swapping out my old carbon filter and fan for my new Cloudline T6 and tossing them into flower this weekend. Here they are today.
Yes, there are still plants in the back, lol.
