James' Money-Pit Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Octopot!

Last night’s project… Attack of the Refrigerated Cuttings!

And here’s this morning…

Might try sticking a few of these in my Turbo Kloner next weekend, but really want to see how long they will keep looking good and if I can do decent rooting from them in a month to two months.

Just an experiment.
Took many cuttings from Powie Poison, Powie Pineapple, and single cutting from Tiki Hawaiian Snow Cone.

I’ll have to check again, but I think it’s around 42° to 44° in there.

Bushy as always :100:

Here’s my buddy’s Octo-grow. Looking fucking awesome. Basically down the same day as my 2x2 Hawiian Snow Cone. Mines going short, his girls will be taller for sure!

Very last of the Electrify harvest. Tasted awesome, and nug feels amazing. Cannatrol been doing well in that regard. Vaped really well, and still had the Grape Dum-Dums aftertaste :100:

So… hadnt taken a PPFD measurement since plant at the lower bars. Ppfd at 1400 :exploding_head: in late Veg/Early Flower. And theyre taking it! Theyve been over 1000 Ppfd for well over a week. No wonder theyve been so thirsty…

Got this as a gift last week. Thought it appropriate to smoke some Skywalker OG thru Baby Yoda first

Such high Ppfd for around 1-2 weeks and no ill effects… In Veg. Goes with what I experienced during LSD grow in 2x2 mini-pit, Ppfd was really high - 1400+ and plants just ate it up, no additional CO2 needed. Of course, that was in mid to late Flower…
Newer reports Ive read state cannabis taking MUCH higher Ppfd levels than thought only a short time prior.
Although that kinda power does keep plants on the shorter side, I believe.

This wasnt supposed to happen…

Looks like things are going to be a bit close with these two tents…
Supposed to harvest once every two months, roughly.

Powie twins in Flower since this past weekend. Day 4 Flower today.

Here’s todays in-tent cam shots…

Leia still hanging around the office . She should be going home with Bill soon. She’s getting better every day. Thinking Leia might be a Rhodesian Ridgeback. She looks very Labrador to me in the muzzle, but has that striping going down her back. She’s going to be a great family dog very soon!

Powie Poison and Powie Pineapple looking good! A bit more full than I’d like, but trying to route them appropriately…

Powies popping up more mutant leaves :100: Thats a feature!

And Leia is doing AWESOME! She’s with us almost two weeks, and this lil “rescue dog on our door step” is going home with her new daddy really soon. :100:

Mondays in-tent cam shots…

Thinned out a bit, but so many mains on these two… Fill-out with a vengeance, Im sure :100:

To keep things a bit more “under control”, Im removing MOST side branching. Its gonna be too tight in here as it is.

Beautiful work Jim, as always. The mutant leaves are because the aliens are watching you and reading your thoughts because you’ve not been wearing your tin foil hat.

So glad Leia had found a forever home. She’s a good girl who deserves to live her best life.

Thanks Igor! One thing really bothers me about what you said…
How did you know I stopped wearing the tin foil hat!?

Im really falling for Leia. If she was under 20lbs, Id be all over that little sweetie pie :100:
She’ll be happy with Bill and his bigger dogs. She will be the smallest of the “Big Dogs” and will come to work to visit, just like Stanlee :100:

Turned on UV ligts last week on level 1. Now on level 2 for 8 hour daily cycle.

Thinking I may be able to mount them directly to the hangers, as they are magnetic. Talking the hangers holding the HLG350 Diablo in place.

Or maybe glue some mini-magnets in place under the HLG lamp…

Octopots and Air Pots. Playing very well together…

Will definitely try in a future grow :100:

Fed both Pineapple and Poison to just above 3rd line during Sundays feeding. Powie Poison is drinking heavily :100: compared to Pineapple on the left

This is one day. Sunday afternoon to Monday late afternoon. Week 2 of Flower

And then there was one.
Powie Pineapple flying this mission solo…

Pretty sure Powie Pineapple is Female. Sure hope so. No balls that I can see… But at the same time, no lil white hairs either…

I’ll deal with you  later… Dude.

Powie Poison has one Hellacious root system. She was the bigger of the two… I’ll get some photos

So, its Flower Day 13 as Im writing this.
Just prior to my Powie Poison realization, I made the decision to remove almost all side-branching due to how crowded it was, and was going to be…
Well thats changed now that its only a single plant. Kinda sucks that she’s been plucked down to her stems only, but should still get a decent pull from her.

Powie Pineapple is fairly spread out :beers:

Not too bad for spur of the moment. I’ve got something else in mind for long-term, but this is better than the way they were on the tent bars.

Also checked on the cuttings. They are doing alright after two weeks. Got rid of the “not so sexy” cuttings and all the cuttings from Powie Poison. Only took 2 cuttings from Tiki Hawiian Snow Cone

Stanlee bored as Fuuuudddge…
But at least he’s not passive aggressive about it

Diverse amount of different trichomes there. What do you use or do to solicit defense and immunity in yours? I read you use sugars. That does cause some osmotic stress like the plant thinks its dry out but it’s not dehydrated
