Thjs isnt my dude Jay.Beezo from IG is it? just wondering I’m not trying to offend anybody. I have a good friend on Instagram is one of the few people I talked to just making sure you’re not him.
Seeing if my homeboys here nice to meet you if not. Have a good one bud.
I have again problems with fungus gnats as well… you said no-till, please what does that mean? For I thought those little bastards came with the soil of BioBizz Lightmix…?
No till from my understanding is a living soil that renews itself and provides everything for the plants so you’re not really messing with bottled nutes.
Fungus gnats come from wet soil they love it Try and let your soil dry out between wateringS or grab some sticky traps
When i checked the pH of my slurry (i only took one from the worst looking plant) my pH was at 7.2 and 250ppm and i gave them some bloom food (Gaia) Herculean harvest Tritons trawl and Aphrodites extraction so first they weren’t eating because of pH now they need food and it sucks cuz this is when it matters most
I found the problem and it’s embarrassing lol lock out from over feeding! I did a run off test yesterday and they all came out 2000 to 5000ppm HOLY SHIT…so next grow 100% starting with 1/4 strength and upping 1/4th a week till full strength or till burn then backing off.
So I’m giving them a Herculean flush. The Herculean harvest will tie up excess salts and nutes and push em out while still providing a bunch of calcium and phosphorus
Hooking from windburn and overwatering still fading some plants got thicker buds than others so we’ll see maybe they’ve been stunned this whole time and now that i flushed the soil they’ll pick back up just making me go another week or two
Nice that should improve things dramatically, just keep it higher than the one you have to start, I found when I switched up my lights to LEDs I was burning my plants.
I would suggest not using them until you start vegging your next batch, as soon as I mess with my lights with the plants in flower, they foxtail and sometimes have hermied. I think they are programed to know that light strength wanes the longer they flower, so when it suddenly becomes much stronger it confuses and stresses them.
Right on that makes sense i would like to get a smaller tent have a veg tent and a flower tent put my old lights in the veg tent and new lights in flower
That’s definitely the way to go if you want to up your production, once you start being able to veg and flower at the same time it gives a lot more choices to when you want to put a plant into flower if you have any problems with it in veg.
2 tents with 1 fan & a ‘Y’ duct piece was recommended by @50State and I like that idea as well as RIP Subcool’s quadrant of 4 different stages of veg in one tent, and a small dome setup separately for clones/seeds as needed.
I’ve seen the 3 part tents with a main flower area, smaller veg, & then mini for the babies but it looks constricting to me for some reason.
Shit sorry I’m not as active on here now but i been taking care of my plants talking to my
Mentor who turned me to nectar…we had a good convo i dumbly followed the advice of salesmen…i was told you can get the same results from feeding 2 times a week vs feeding everytime but that’s what they made it sound like is that you can feed every watering to push the plant…true to an extent and that’s why preventative flushes are a thing.
But like @Shadey said it seems like a waste of nutes absolutely correct
I got this next grow 100% I’m going to stagger the nutes. I’m getting help with a schedule then going to Taylor it to my garden specifically.
ANYWAYYYYY i got my PPMS down to 500 and they’re eating again 6.5ph 500ppm giving them a tsp of gaia (bloom nute) 2tsp of Herculean cuz I’m pushing for that phosphorus 2 tsp of triton (same as herc but made with fish bones) said to bring out the aroma and flavor more. So i also have buds that are fillin our and some that are small and airy i assume the ones with the smaller airy buds are from stunned growth or genetics going for 2 or 3 more weeks see what happens
I find my airy buds are caused by heat and lack of airflow, it usually happens on my buds that hang down the back of the pots when I train them low and wide. As the buds get bigger they flop down lower, sometimes it happens when I am drying them, they start off solid and then go a bit airy.
