Jaybeezy’s garden

So here goes nothing I’m going to top and train and gear these ladies up for flower by July 4th few reasons i won’t switch July 4th is excessive infestation or multiple plants have problems. I’m not gna worry about 1 plant having an issue I’ve moved on from worrying about every little thing

I also have an experiment going two the same strains same mother same day cut. 1 is getting general hydro maxi series with bloom city calmag. And the other is getting nectar for the gods. I’ve run into problems with both it was suppsed to be base nutes vs base nutes but my buddy said i fucked it up cuz i added 2 more bottles to my nectar base 4

But if you ask me what i added is basically the same as the bloom city cal mag.

So opinion do you think it’s unfair now?

Gh maxi gro and bloomcity calmag 2-0-0

Then with nectar it was the base 4 bottles and then i added a little extra nitrogen and a calcium boost

Ordered tye velcro and panda film to split my tent into 2 4x4s fun now how ima do it but it’s gna get done going from a 2x2 to a 8x4 is too big of a gap so now I’ll have a 2x2 for fresh clones in cups then a 4x4 for veg and a 4x4 for flower which I’ll probably be switching the two between flower and veg

So 1 month in the 2x2 1 month or more in the 4x4 then flip a month later I’ll flip the other side and keep that rotation going

And this is what i got and need help lmao kinda thinking just poking holes in the film where the connectors are and then velcroing and taping to light proof

Needs more work i gotta velcro the top and bottom then go over anything else with tape hell i might just line everything with duct tape

Use gorrila or Trex tape, duct tape was always unsticking itself from my tent, probably the humidity.

Good luck, you look like it’s getting there :+1:

That’s good to know what about silver tape used for actual ducting

It does stick well but it tears easily I found.

This stuff doesn’t seem to tear Easy it says for “class 1 ducting” it seems to have the structure of duct tape but shiny silver with writing haha i guess we’ll see ima fuck around and find out .

It also seems i took on too many plants for my budget :rofl: oops

But i have a plan to help me out for r make it fit my budget to finish.

I’m going to get a 4 lb bag of one shot (soil amendment) and mix in a 3/5 cup per 5 gallon pot this way they will be continuously fed without me
Having to mix up nutes everytime mixing up 3 gallon batches of nutes im seeing how this can get expensive

That doesn’t sound like the foil stuff I have, interested to see how that works out :+1:

Just be careful to not make your soil to hot at the start.

Ah man, I had a lot of catching up to do. Yay for @Shadey keeping ya company

I’ve struggled using maxigrow but I do use the f out of maxibloom. Im in hydro flood and drain and use maxibloom at 4-5grams(~1tbsp) per gallon, 2ml silica, and the game changer Solution Grade Gypsum at 1-2grams (<~1tbsp) per gallon. From seedling to harvest this is all I use and that gypsum instead of calmag with the maxibloom… :ok_hand:

Anyways, I enjoyed catching up on your grow! Looks like you were doing damn well with the nftg line! Lookin forward to seeing what you do with all these cuts ^^

Who makes this soluble gypsum, I use gypsum a lot but have only seen it in little round pea size bits and it takes a while to break down and become available. That definitely is a game changer.

Thanks for all the likes man, you must have used a days worth up.

The two big ones I’ve seen are DiamondK, idk about Canadia and shipping but buildasoil sells it for cheap.

Down To Earth is the other brand, it’s noticeably more expensive but mixes easier and it’s cleaner than the DiamondK.

The solution-grade is a fine powder, very much like flour.

Definitely used up most of my likes

Cheers, I will have to check them out, maybe a cloth bag and a hammer to powder up what I have would make it more plant accessible, I doubt it would be as fine as flour though.

Check out your local brew store. Solution grade gypsum is often used to condition water for certain styles of beer.

Interesting to know about the maxi series dunno if I’m a fan……i like that it’s easy to use mix up PH and pour other than mixing 6 bottles ph and pour but i feel like the NFTG line the plants just seem overall better once i get my groove goin. i just seem to have issues resulting in MR CEO OF NECTAR WHAT DO. He’s always quick wish responses and happy to help so that’s cool.

BUT WELCOME IM NOT ALL THAT CONSISTENT ABOUT POSTING BUT I TRY

I am also interested in what i do with these cuts  some might get striped down for clones and moved to veg and swapped with something that isn’t getting cloned out…

I got all this space i wanna use it

Yeah that’s my concern is the soil being too hot at first but to be fair my highest slurry ppm was 800 with only a little bit of hooking

Otherwise my others ranged from 6.5pH to 6.9ph 200 to 400ppm so i thibk I’m in a good range except for the one

My plan of how often i feed my plants is not working lol they’re eating at different rates

But this is the tape

I’ve heard great things about DTE i got there garden lime to help out some acidic soil and it worked great saw a difference in treated and not treated

Tape looks good, you won’t really know until you try it though, hopefully it won’t all unstick itself a week later like my duct tape did.

I mean you right lol so maybe I’ll be pushing flower a week or two back i ordered the one shot and it’ll be here by the 2nd so i figured give it a week to see how it reacts and correct anything that may go astray.
And it’ll give me some time to test out the tape

My grow is also less humid so maybe humidity won’t be an issue

Working on some light penning get some of these Lowr branches to come up. I used to tie stuff down and I’d love too but now i have more vertical space where before i only had 4 foot i got 6 and some inches HOLLA let’s got aiming for at least a half pound that should last me a few months then a month after this harvest ANOTHER ONE . But then probably a gap cuz i haven’t planned that far out lol
