It’s funny, here in Barrie there’s a big joke about the traffic. A lot of people from Toronto have moved into the south end of Barrie (the 400 splits the city in half, you can get from the north end to the south in minutes but hey, have at it) There’s constant grid lock at major intersections in the south end, while it doesn’t happen much at all in the north end.
I’m not sure what makes people think it’s more important for them to block 2 or 3 lanes of traffic than to just wait two fucking minutes.
You guys have no idea… in 20km in any direction I’m BOUND to see at LEAST 3 or 4 cars on the road… its insufferable!!! I want the WHOLE rd to myself… like the olden days
I remember when we first moved to the island from Vancouver, my parents would listen to the news on the radio at home (no TV out here back in the 90’s, we were too far out) and laugh at the traffic reports.
Victoria sucks though, so does the highway portions of Duncan and Nanaimo, it’s not all rose petals and Lavender on the island
At least downtown I know what these assholes want and what they’re going to do, but in the burbs, who knows what moves these crazy fuckers are going to pull.
